I was a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe. I was skeptical about renting a room due to bad experiences in the past, but I was convinced by the price and the fact that the homeowner was a woman. I really appreciated that right after booking, I received a message clarifying that it was just a room and not the whole house, and that I could cancel the reservation for free. At that moment, I felt I was dealing with honest and kind people. Another plus was that I could communicate fluently in English. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. She didn’t interfere with guests' lives and was almost invisible. The house had its own charm, and the views around were wonderful. A shop and restaurant are very close to the house. The place is clean, well-kept, and you can really feel the Greek atmosphere – time seems to pass slowly there. I found exactly what I needed, and I will definitely come back.

A pretty little town with cafes, tavernas and great ice cream/dessert places. Just a couple of souvenir/clothes shops and a well stocked supermarket and a smaller mini market. Also a pharmacy. No beach here but a pretty little marina. We ate at Bistrot Cafe and To Limani and I can recommend them both for great food and amazing value. Staff were really friendly. Also a great looking pizza place which we didn't go to in the end. All in all a lovely little typically Greek town.

Good selection of good restaurants / tavernas with very reasonable prices. Mani peninsular mixes mountains and the sea so you have walking options and beach options. Different range of beaches from sheltered sandy beaches with lots of sun loungers and beach bars to more remote beaches with fewer people, and a range of small pebbles/sand to stony, most of them with good beach bars! Also a good coastline to kayak to different beaches and explore caves and hidden inlets that you don't see from the road

Nice restaurants, nice atmosphere and extremely nice people and good food. Be sure to visit Leonardo for ice-cream or breakfast and Elis tavern for excellent food. Also Rodi is worth visiting if you feel like some Italian food.

We really enjoyed staying here.

We really enjoyed staying here. Three days was enough and was great to relax following a big hiking tour in Arcadia. The harbour front is small with local fishing boats coming and going. Plenty of really good restaurants to choose from with prices for all budgets. We found it very reasonable to eat out. There is access to the sea from steps down from one of the waterfront tavernas in the village. A short walk around to Pantazi beach has a good restaurant and sun beds. Going the other way is a great 5K trail to Stoupa, a bigger, busier resort with sandy beaches and many restaurants and sunbeds.

There was a big promenade around the port, and there were restaurants/bars and shops. There is a parking place too. The beach was not good for swimming. But it's in few minutes drive for great beaches like Stoupa, Kalogria and Foneas.

I loved that it was new and renovated with modern design. Was very clean and the host Vasili was really nice and accommodating with anything we needed. The locals were super nice and friendly. They have an awesome store right at the corner of the hotel,high quality stuff with great prices. The view outside of the hotel was gorgeous and the price was excellent for the high quality hotel.

Very comfortable and sparkling clean studio, just a short walk to the lovely bustling harbour of Agios Nikolaos with restaurants, shops and anything you could possibly need. Amazing views of the sea, with stunning sunsets. The outside terrace is lovely too, we enjoyed our breakfast outside every morning. Communication with the host was very easy and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The location was excellent and the facilities in the apartment were fantastic. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Agios Nikolaos. Just two minutes walk from the centre, easy parking, very convenient and a beautiful property. There was also a fantastic welcome basket and a bottle of wine in the fridge.

Perfect location, short stroll along the seafront to Agios Nikolaos with excellent restaurants, baker, butcher and supermarket. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Listening to the waves from our bed was just delightful. Maria was very friendly and extremely helpful. Would love to stay again!
