First of all, I came across a lot of bad comments about the hotel. These comments were mostly about the room not being cleaned. I have not encountered such a situation. The most accurate comment I can make is this: Generally, hotels are worse than they appear in the photo. This hotel was better than it looked in the photos. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. The rooms were very spacious.

Anne a Mare apartments exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the impeccable cleanliness the modern and luxury appeal that permeated every corner of this establishment. The rooms were an absolute delight – not only were they spacious and tastefully decorated, but they were also spotless. Modern rooms with kitchenette and a huge TV, toilet and shower rooms are separate which makes the showering even more enjoyable. The pool area was another highlight of my stay. It was maintained with the utmost care. The pool looks luxurious with modern sunbeds and sun shades and a pool bar next to it so you can enjoy your drink while taking a dip. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the warm and welcoming owner. Their genuine passion for hospitality was evident in every interaction. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable, having a drink with us talking about local restaurants and things to see in the area, offering late check out, inviting us to use the pool even when we checked out and making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Lastly, the location of this hotel is also excellent. Nestled at the entrance of Afitos it allows easy access to the city and the lovely beaches in the vicinity although i am sure spending a day or two at the pool relaxing is an excellent option as well. In conclusion, my experience at this summer hotel in Afitos was nothing short of exceptional. The unwavering commitment to cleanliness, the inviting pool area, the gracious owner, and the excellent location all contributed to a truly memorable stay. I can't wait to return at this hidden gem of a hotel.

We had a great time in Stratos Hotel. It was the second time we stayed there. Very kind and friendly empolyees. They even optimized the bathroom with an extra shelf, as we mentioned last time, that there could be a little more storage place. We will come back next time we are in Afytos!

Our experience was amazing – 10/10! Everything was perfect: the place was super clean, the location was quiet and ideal, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great value for money. We traveled as a couple and enjoyed every moment. Definitely recommended and we would love to come back again.

A wonderful old town, with many restaurants, shops, bakeries...

A wonderful old town, with many restaurants, shops, bakeries, snack bars, a nice pedestrian zone, located at a height above the sea. The local two or three beaches are sandy, rather narrow, the sea has an uneven rocky bottom. Going to the beach is easy, because you go downhill, but on the way back there is quite a climb, so for small children and people with limited mobility it is better to use a car.

Afytos is by far the most beautiful place in this part of Greece. Unlike other nearby towns, it carries a unique history and a special vibe that you simply don’t find elsewhere. This is a beautiful town and the people there are very friendly and will to help where is possible. To get the best experience while visiting it would be advisable to rent a car as there are some amazing beaches in the surrounding areas that are not accessible unless you take a taxi or rent a car

For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek...

For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek islands I have been to (Leros, Paros, Milos etc) which offered comparable more services with higher standards. However, I think it is a must-stop in Kassandra, and I think it is a very good central hub to stay and plan your next routes in Halkidiki.

Afitos is a beautiful Greek town with amazing restaurants,...

Afitos is a beautiful Greek town with amazing restaurants, shops, bars and beaches. There are also a few supermarkets and bakeries which are good value. Afitos is really easy to walk around. There are some steep hills to get to the beach, but you can drive if you have a car. We hired a small boat for 3 hours which was really easy, and took a taxi to the local marina to pick this up. Also scuba diving in the area close by, and my daughter was picked up for the morning and dropped off safely. I'd recommend Norbert from Dive Club Kassandra who is PADI qualified and very quick to respond. We would definitely recommend as a quiet holiday getaway.

Afitos is a wonderful place.

Afitos is a wonderful place. There are beautiful beaches around. The restaurants and cafes are excellent. It is very enjoyable to walk around and you can find ice cream and coffee everywhere. Also the souvenir shops are very tasteful. We loved Afitos both in terms of architecture and facilities!

A wonderful stay in a prime location in Afitos. The very helpful and kind host, Vasylis, was always available. The apartment is functional, cozy, and romantic. Everything you need is available. The place is very clean; we can't remember anywhere being as clean as Elisw. A wonderful place is one thing, but the presence of such a wonderful person as Vasylis makes staying there a pure pleasure. The best place for a vacation in all of Chalkidiki! We highly recommend it!

We recommend the hotel, if you are looking for a nice, peaceful and comfortable place. Even located in the heart of Afitos, the hotel is very quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked even better than on internet. The breakfast was very tasty and was served in a beautiful small garden with nice decoration and pleasant music. The hosts were really kind, friendly and helpful. We would like to go there again. Thank you!

The house was very clean. There is everything you need. Only a kettle was missing, but we were okay. If we had asked the host, he would have helped, I'm sure. The host was very friendly and helpful. It has its own park. The wifi was very good. The location of the house was central. You can walk in Afytos easily. Afytos is a great place to stay in Halkidiki, and I would prefer Asteride again if I visited.

Fantastic view from the balcony. Afitos city is very close by car and very nice for eating out, shopping and the beach. Host very friendly. She showed us the way to the closest beach 150 metres from the appartment that has an area next to hotel sunbeds where you can stay with your own umbrella. The matress in the double bed was very good, we slept perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zeus. It was close to the city centre, the room was big and the bed was very comfortable. One big plus is the host, who is very nice, and the pool. I’ve had the best time reading at the pool. When we left, the host gave us a little bottle of olive oil, which was a very nice gesture.
