We had the room with the private pool, and it was a fantastic experience! The room: sleek and comfy! Always kept clean by the staff, with lots of wardrobes where to put our clothes, and with a bathroom with its own window! (really rare in Italy where i live). It was also really silent it you keep the patio door closed. If you turn the ac on for a couple of hours before bed, the coolness will last all night long. The private pool: fantastic! Very clean, and we had a little patio with chairs. The food: the quality of the products was on point! There is a main restaurant room where there are always cold dishes and hot dishes. The cold ones are mainly salads, the hot ones vary... there are usually meat options (lamb, stew, chicken, duck...), vegetables (tomatoes stuffed with rice, steamed veggies, eggplants...), and at least one pasta option (not for the italians... trust me!) and one fish option. There is also a really nice lady that fries things like chicken nuggets, falafel, greek donuts, spring rolls... All very good! Lastly there is the desserts table with watermelon, ice cream, and a variety of sweets: baklava (fantastic), some kind of mousse, small bites of pies, fruit jelly. For the italian taste the desserts were really too sweet, especially the topping which usually is some kind of fruit jelly... The other guests loved them! Outside of this main room there is an open air area with more tables and another cooking station, where you can get pizza and gyros (which were really really good!) Overall a very nice and relaxing experience!

Whole hotel was clean and nice, staff was friendly and the food! OMG! We really liked the food there. We got a room with seaview and really nice terrace. The all inclusive was a really all inclusive, so there were always a chance to get something to drink or eat. We did not use any pool but there were more pools where you could spent some time. Beach is a short walk away, the beach was nice. It is about 30 minutes away from the airport. The area is nice for comfy holiday.

Fantastic find in a gorgeous part of Rhodes. Nice and quiet away from the bigger cities. We hired a car so was able to drive out and see lots of places. Hotel clean, staff lovely, pool area is STUNNING and no English people……GREAT!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa Maroula! What an amazing, relaxing place! The rooms were very clean, ambient and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Each room had also access to the beautiful garden, where we enjoyed our coffee every day. The villa is only 2 mins drive away from Afantou beach, which is also an added bonus! And most importantly we had a great host, Mr. Michalis, who did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible! It was truly relaxing and beautiful, and can’t wait to go back again! Afandou Beach is a beautiful, wide, and open stretch of coastline — the kind of place where locals come to swim, which always means it’s a good beach. It’s mostly pebbly with patches of sand, very long, and never feels crowded. Because it’s open to the sea, there can be bigger waves on windy days, which actually makes it feel fresh and natural. It’s perfect for swimming and relaxing, though not ideal for snorkeling, as the seabed is mostly plain. We definitely recommend visiting, especially if you like space and a more local vibe. Still, we personally preferred Stegna Beach, just a short drive away — smaller, more sheltered, and much more diverse. It’s a bit busier with tourists, but offers fantastic conditions for snorkeling, swimming, and spending the day with children.

We were in the Rodos Star Hotel which was up a steep hill...

We were in the Rodos Star Hotel which was up a steep hill and not very close to anything or the Village which was ok but not much to offer. Cost 10.50 euros to get there and very difficult to get a cab back and too far to walk.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Arfna Villas.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Arfna Villas. The villa is modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel at home right away. The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra charge, which we really appreciated. The villa is located a bit outside of the main town and other nearby areas, so it’s best suited if you rent a car to get around easily. For us this wasn’t a problem and it added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes.

The beach is ok. It is pretty rocky. Still nice. Not much else to do around, so I booked a few tours. The supermarket is a long walk away, especially in the heat, so if you are planning on food shopping and don't drive it's not that easy. If you drive you should be fine. The locarion is better if you rent a car. Not that many places to eat, just a few. There is a small convenience store that sells water and a few basic products. Not really fruits or vegetables etc.

We were purposefully looking for a quieter destination to take a break from the big city we live in. I liked that even in the town of Afandou, it wasn't too crowded. Excellent bus connections to other cities, e.g. Rhodes, Lindos . .

The walk to the beach is quite far, so I recommend renting a car right away. There are plenty of restaurants, but not too many shops—still, it was enough. Afandou is a city of mopeds; I’ve never seen so many anywhere else. The center of Rhodes is simply amazing, with countless shops and many restaurants. It felt like life continued throughout the night. The most delicious meat was in the cheapest café.

I liked EVERYTHING, all the things related to this villa are built in the highest standards regarding accommodation. Definitely planning on returning next years. This was a LOVELY stay. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our flight out what delayed and we didn’t reach the hotel until 23.30. When we arrived, they gave us a sandwich and some water to have once we got back to our room. Their food was typical of what you would expect of an all inclusive. They also run a free shuttle to take you to/from the local beach which is beautiful!

Spacious apartment that easily fits a family of four with nice balconies for each toom. It has fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The location is great with some of the most beautiful beaches reachable in 10-20 minutes. The owner is very attentive and we felt like home during our 9 day stay. We would love to return it we visit Rhodes again!
