The hotel is in a beautiful location, the rooms are brand new, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. Despite the cold December in Ilulissat, we stayed warm and cozy in this comfortable hotel, with an excellent breakfast and a great price. The young woman at the reception was very friendly, and the airport shuttle was very convenient. It's a shame we couldn't try the restaurant, which has great reviews, as it was closed. I hope to return one day.

It’s located about 2 kms away from the town centre, facing the fjord/sea. The whole hotel looks new, staff are friendly and welcoming, and the open deck outside the hotel restaurant is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the fjord/sea. The public bus to town stops right outside the hotel main entrance. Perched on a hill, the room windows look out over the fjord/sea, giving unobstructed views of the icebergs during the day and clear views of the aurora at night.

Im very glad I chose this place, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay here. Center and hiking trails within walking distance, as well as grocery shops and post office. There also was delicious coffee and decent hair dryer in the apartment. Owner is a kind local man who speaks English very well.

The house itself is amazing. It is spotless. Furniture is modern (Danish style everywhere!) and designed to make you feel comfortable (as you would feel at home). In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook. Coffe and tea are also available there. Heat system is an important issue in this house as temperatures outside are not high even in Summer. Views from the dining room are aweosome. You can follow a huge iceberg moving in its way to the ocean before melting. But the best without any doubt is Anders. He helped us with some tours, offering his suggestions and good knowledge of the area. He also helped us to book a taxi to the airport and to find someone for a Kafemik. When you are an independent traveller (you do not travel with a travel agency) Anders makes you feel safe. You know you can contact him if you need any help. In such a remote city , as Ilullisat is, Anders has been an important part of our trip. We would love to come back in Winter to spot Northern Lights and to enjoy dog sleeding.
