Hospitality of the family was awesome and made us feel comfortable. All the family makes you feel like a invited family or friend and not like a client. They really care about making you feel comfortable and cared for, and they have details like offering you a jug of water, tea or some apples as soon as you arrive after a long walk. Breakfast was awesome with a lot of food that you can bring for your daily route to Adishi. Thx Tsiuri and family ❤️❤️❤️

Probably my favourite place on the Mestia to Ushguli hike. Beautiful house with a large garden you can relax in, surrounded by mountains. Food and wine were excellent, and staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Lali is an incredible host with so much warmth and kindness. You really feel like part of the family. The food was deliscious and there was more than enough to take for lunch on the trail. One of my favourite guesthouses on my trek to Ushguli!

Maybe the best guesthouse in the small village of Zhabeshi. We were the only guests that night and were in the room with a private bathroom (no. 1). The family helped us with anything we asked for and made some delicious food for us. Big portions and a good lunch pack for a reasonable price.

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common...

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common route taken by hikers walking the iconic Mestia-to-Ushguli hike. (There are alternative routes that bypass Zhabeshi.) The village is located in an exquisite valley just below the confluence of the Tviberi and Tsaneri Rivers, nestled under the slopes of Tetnuldi and Banguriani peaks in the Greater Caucasus Range. If you're into mountain environments and ancient villages steeped in history, it doesn't get much better than this.

with the concrete road to Mestia in place (20 minutes of driving), there is no real need to stay in Zhabeshi any more if you have your own car: Mestia has much more guesthouses to choose from and offers shops, nice restaurants, ATM's, ... which you don't find in Zhabesi at all; only if you want to experience solitude, rural live and stay in a family guesthouse , you can still enjoy Zhabeshi
