Love this place! The stuff is amazing! Breakfast was great every day, with variety of meals and hot drinks. View was amazing from our room. There is central heating system, so you will not get cold. Mattresses and pillows are pure clouds. We was traveling with or frenchie, so there was no extra charge for a dog. Also the place have a bakery and it was warm smell of baked goods all the time, which was extra warming point during cold season.

Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum. Worth to visit Laghami church as well. In the country, which is famous for wines, visiting local beer brewery "Setieli" might be an exotic adventure and fun. Favourite place to eat Lanchvali restaurant, if too tired to get up to the hill, "Lushnu Our" might be the second choise, although too crowdy. Cable car get you up to Zuruldi masiff. Mestia is great location for those who enjoy one day trecking and walks.

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains.

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains. It's a small cozy town. Wooden and stone buildings perfectly complement the mountain scenery. As for food, for a small town there is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, and there are also small grocery stores. We mostly went hiking near Mestia and got a lot of positive impressions, enjoying the amazing scenery.

One of the most beautiful places in the world - amazing views, pristine nature, ancient unique history and culture, a lot of interesting beautiful places around, so many activities in the place and in around villages (fishing, horse, car or bicycle rental, hiking, visiting museums, restaurants including with a live music, sauna etc.) And again really adorable views at first.

In Mestia, we saw the Ethnographic Museum, the Margiani Museum, the Mikheil Khergiani Museum, we saw Ushba and the Ethnographic Museum there, the Svan towers, the water and food in Mestia are very delicious, the air is clean, the local people are extraordinary, we still have other places to see and we plan to visit Svaneti again.

The journey up through the mountains from Zugdidi to Mestia is itself outstanding for the beauty of the mountain scenery that one passes through. Mestia provides many opportunities to explore the high Caucasus Mointains with its many guided tours that are on offer locally.

The hosts (Ralf and Tamara) are great couple and their hospitality is great. They are more than happy to help with everything you need (Tamara prepared special breakfast for our son noting what his likes the most the other day) and can arrange very nice driver if you want to get to Ushguli. Their hotel has one of the best views in Mestia. Rooms are very nice. Last but not least they have very friendly shih tzu happy to play with you or your children.

The location is beautiful just in between two of the famous towers in this region, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice. Just in front of the rooms there is a sunny balcony with a nice view overlooking Mestia. The host is extremely friendly and the breakfast delicious and plenty! We totally recommend this accommodation (have stayed here 3 nights), it was the best on our entire trip through Svaneti !

The location is fantastic for daily trips and for moving around Mestia. We enjoyed spending time outside at the terrace as well as in our cozy room with an excellent blanket. The host was just beyond perfect. Always smilling and asking if we need anything. She gave us lunch boxes. We felt like at home. The best accomodation in Georgia.
