We loved the location - little cottages in a beautiful and calming garden. The hosts were very welcoming, gave us some free wine and cookies as well as helpful suggestions about what locations to visit in the surrounding area. Loved David's stories about the history of the area!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Savanna Guest House in Dedoplistskaro. After a long day exploring Vashlovani National Park, we were exhausted and decided to stay the night locally. Despite our late arrival at around 10 PM, Temo, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. He waited for us in front of the house, and our room was just as described – super clean and cozy. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast made by Temo’s family. The personal touch of this family business made our stay feel even more special. Temo is also a guide for the national park, and although we had already visited, he provided us with fascinating additional information. I highly recommend Savanna Guest House to anyone visiting the area. The hospitality, comfort, and overall experience were exceptional.

I'm an American, but my 2 young children had never seen autumn leaves before. Dedoplistskaro received 4 days of our 5-day trip to Georgia because it was the perfect autumn leaves destination. Persimmon trees had the prettiest leaves. We're so glad we chose this quiet, beautiful corner of Georgia. Almost all our hikes and family adventures (except Lagodekhi and Vashlovani) were within 8 minutes from Maia's house. Each provided complete solitude other than a few cows and horses. In the distance, we saw shepherds from Pankisi Valley that had migrated hundreds of miles for the winter. The whole area looks very much like Otago, New Zealand. Maia's homestay was the perfect base. She had a beautiful, comfortable, clean home with lots of space for our kids. She cooked breakfast and dinner for us every day, and she used all fresh ingredients. Amazing food—lots of dill and other herbs. She took care of our family, she was kind and warm. She invited her grandchildren to play with our kids, and she taught our kids to make fresh churchkhela (much better than what you'd buy roadside). What a lovely trip.

Old fashioned, but very nice apartment, super clean with great decoration. Hosts do not speak English but treated us like friends and family. Towels and bedsheets are provided. They even gave us a fruit basket and sweets.

This was one of the best guesthouses we have been to in Georgia (and I have to say we travel a lot! ) . Room was spacious, everything clean and working. Khatya was a wonderful host, spoke very good English, extremely helpful, she contacted me on her own, right after I made the booking, asked if we need some advice or recommendations before we even arrived. The real highlight was the meal - both dinner and breakfast. I definitely recommend to have a dinner as well. All the services were for more than reasonable price. I hope we can come again soon. Thanks!!!
