A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area. Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced. Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this. Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum. Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Lovely hotel has really great potential once refurbishment is complete. The patio area was very pleasant to sit outside in the scorching heat as was pretty, shaded and plenty of furniture. Our room was very clean and well equipped .. hairdryer, shower gel, towels, trouser press, tv, free wifi .. Excellent location for short walk to centre. We parked for 2 nights @£12 total ( Clare St .. hotel is less ) Will most definitely be back .. Thank You Worcester for a great weekend .

Loved the People, the breakfast really set us up for a long day of travel - proper food, conversation was wonderful, staff are amazing in so many ways for guests and community. Definitely going to book here for all my family visits to and through Worcester. Bringing our dog was easy and we met other good folks and a pooch who clearly sees Ye Old Talbote as his holiday destination. For us it means finally, that we could bring our dog to visit family here.

The hotel is in the city centre and extremely convenient for visiting Worcester. The decor may be in need of a face lift but it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The manager. CHRIS goes our of his way to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. I have been here for almost three weeks as my wife is in the local hospital and Chris has been brilliant and gone out of his way to help me in this difficult time.

Comfortable hotel in the centre of Worcester. Ideal for access to Worcester, also just opposite Foregate train station. Largish car park at rea of hotel (£10 per night or £20 per night for a reserved spot) Great buffet breakfast, plus they will make extras individually e.g. porridge, omelettes, poach eggs etc. I didn't get time to use the leisure facilities but there is a gym and swimming pool on site

The whole experience was good, the welcome and then seeing the room which had a separate seating area. We had a evening meal which was excellent, served with a great house white wine. Breakfast could not be faulted and the Debbie the Receptionist offered very personal service, such as popping up to our room to check for us if we had left anything behind, I had, my mobile phone !!!

Fantastic in every way, we stayed for one night, we were upgraded to an Apartment, the evening meal was 10/10 and discounted by 50 per cent. When we arrived we were early and had a Coffee and the owner paid for them. We have no connection to this Hotel but honestly if you are stopping in Worcester as we did you will not be disappointed.
