The property was beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable, generous in size all very new and tastefully appointed bathroom. The host provided everything I could possibly have needed. It felt safe and was a short walk to the local stores and to the South West Coast path.

This is a great stay. The house is clean, light and airy, with a large open living space. The most important part of any let is: are the beds and couches comfortable? YES, in both cases. The house is well provisioned, with thorough documentation in the welcome folder. Not just milk welcomed us, but also crisps, chocolate biscuits (fancy ones!), and Prosecco. The location is handy to the beach and the shops (I recommend Atlantic Fish and Chips), both about 8 minutes walk away. There is a 7kW EV charger available to use for a small fee, this is extremely handy if you’re holidaying in an EV, and much cheaper than using public rapid chargers. The host was available via SMS, and responded promptly to questions. I would recommend this property to friends and family, and would stay again. My only criticism is the shower mixer is very fiddly and time consuming to get right, sometimes it was impossible to keep on temperature. The host acknowledges this in the documentation, but I think it would be better to have it replaced with a thermostatic mixer and be done with it.

The holiday park was fantastic! We booked two bungalows, both with a view on the sea. Reception was flexible, as we could check in and out easily. And the beach was walking distance.

We had a perfect stay from check in. We were welcomed by Nicky and shown to our lovely accommodation. The rooms in the lodge building were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern with a very powerful shower. Our evening meals and breakfast cooked by John were exceptional. The hotel is in a quiet location with countryside views and has plenty of free onsite parking.

Good for families.

Good for families. We stayed for a family wedding so didn’t spend too much time in Westwood Ho. Nice walks and several nice restaurants/cafes. Country Cousins was great, good food, friendly staff.

Westward Ho is a beautiful place & must be seen.

Westward Ho is a beautiful place & must be seen. The beach goes on & on. The people are lovely. There’s lots to do or if you just want a quiet place to soak up the sun then this is the place for you,

Nice beach, small arcade on front.

Nice beach, small arcade on front. Plenty of cafes and restuarants to eat. Few shops to buy groceries. Plenty of accommodation from caravans to chalets. Nice coastal walk and open air sea water swimming pool.

Our total Break was amazing,Great Beaches Great walks and the people were very friendly and there is also a lovely Bakery with lovely helpful staff, it is so easy to get around Westward Ho, The fish and chip shop is a must to try amazing food

Immaculate, beautifully furnished, very comfortable beds, stunning view of the sea and land. Would recommend highly. Very near good eateries and the fish and chip shop handy too. Central position to tour the area. Enjoyed the Rectory Tea Rooms at Morwenstow- characterful building, great food and lovely welcoming staff. Also delicious food and lovely ambiance at The Bell Inn at Parkham. Yummy pasties at the shop on the left going down the street at Clovelly - fantastic village! Railway museum - a little gem - at Bideford and walk along river to Instow from Bideford is flat and easy on the old railway track. Lovely deli and cafe ‘John’s’ at Instow.

It is very easy to get around Westward Ho

It is very easy to get around Westward Ho The tides coming in and out are some of the best in Devon. The Pier House is highly recommended. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good

Property was exactly what we wanted. Felt clean and spacious and had all the facilities we needed. Was nice to have welcome tea/coffee/milk and sponge/dishwasher tablet etc. loved the location, right in the middle of westward Ho :) Great that there is free parking and a loft to all floors too. I requested sea view and got this. Enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from the balcony.
