Weston super Mare is an old fashioned seaside resort trying hard to keep itself attractive. The renovated pier has offers amusements and cafes and the derelict old pier adds character. There is a sandy beach but at low tide there is a lot of mud between that and the sea. The marine pool is interesting. There is pleasant walking on the nearby headlands Worlebury to the north and Brean Down, a short drive to the south. There are plenty of places to eat - we went to a great Italian place called Il Michelangelo.

Great.
Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees.
Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.

I was on a walking holiday and was using Weston as my base. If you enjoy walking then the walk from Weston to Uphill and then through the nature reserve to Brean. Down onto the beach at Brean and you can walk through to Burnham on Sea. Lovely walk. The nature reserve is well worth a visit. Lots of wildlife and plenty of space for a picnic. There is also a cafe and toilets there. Uphill is a pretty little village.

The museum is worth a visit, with a wealth of interesting exhibits about the town. Also, the architecture is amazing, with wonderful Georgian/Regency terraces. I would say it beats Bath, without the throngs of tourists and prices. Pity about the bus service, with many not running on a Sunday. I wanted to have a look at Clevedon.

This town has a theatre the Playhouse with lots of shows music venues ecc. There are some nice walks to do along the beach or you can take many buses and reach the villages near by and walk back to town. A lot of choice for restaurant of any type from Italian (i have not tried but I would suggest Michelangelo) to Indian Fusion Thai cinese Brasilian ecc there is the Grand Pier too. I had a nice hallumi burger at The Barn but there is also a good fish and chips serving veg food opposte the Grand Pier. For people that have to fly like me it is somewhat cheaper to stay here than in Bristol and you can either take a taxi or a bus every hour even at night

It is in a good location right opposite the beach and a few blocks from the pier. Was surprised to see an operating ferris wheel on the street at the pier and went on it. The hotel is comfortable - I was seemingly upgraded to a very large room on the top floor south facing the beach, which was wonderful on arrival with the sun streaming in. Has a nice bed, double entry and wing chairs for sitting. Has an elevator. Good internet. Breakfast was in a new addition atrium and was generous continental - good coffee. Very nice.
We really enjoyed staying in this very nice traditional hotel with the friendly owner and the nice staff. English breakfast was just perfect. We liked the tower room with the beautiful seaview and the nice balcony. We discovered several places such as Bristol, Bath, Bibury and Castle Combe. But walking along the beach in Weston-super-Mare is also a nice idea to spend a day and finish it in one of the restaurants along the seafront. And the weather in April was just perfect for this trip.
Traditional seaside b&b/hotel right on the seafront - rooms were immaculately clean (mine had a new ensuite) cosy, comfortable and heated up nicely in the evening (stayed in winter). Special thanks for the unexpected upgrade (had booked a single room, but got a twin, and it was nice to have the additional space). This was more than what I had expected for the price. Excellent service too. Thank you.
Staff all very helpful, I had the bed breakfast and evening meal option and although I'm a fussy eater, nothing seemed to much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of great choices available. Also big fluffy bath sheets in the bathroom rather than the normal tiny hotel towels you get in other hotels. Plus I had a great seaview room
Would certainly go back again.
this hotel is located right on the seafront.
we had a room with a sea view which was really nice and unexpected at such short notice of the booking. 4.10pm on the day of our stay.
The restaurant onsite was nice and prices weren’t to bad for what we had.
Breakfast was really nice and a good choice.
We had a car so a free car park was most helpful.
The location of the property was fabulous. On the seafront and Near the pier. The hotel had a restaurant called the Waterfront. Slightly higher priced than local restaurants, but the food was really lovely. The staff of the hotel and restaurant were friendly attentive and very helpful.
The room had a Balcony which was really nice for the sea view.
great older property.. nice and comfortable.. out of town along the seafront… so a lovely walk in .. definitely have a sea view room and listen to the sea with no traffic noise… it’s not the premier inn .. it’s a good old fashioned English seaside hotel. staff were nice and friendly.
The manager was very polite, did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The facilities in the hotel were lovely, the room was spotless and comfortable. Finally the views fron the veranda were amazing. The breakfast was very enjoyable.
Hotel was lovely, old but really clean and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good too - lots of variety and the self service was really well thought out in terms of keeping people covid safe.
Chose this hotel on account of it's seafront location. Unfortunately, the weather did not oblige so we were unable to sit outside. Parking was free, which is always a bonus at the seaside.
Great location just off the seafront with ample free parking. Room was comfortable, the staff friendly and engaging and the breakfast spot on. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
Lovely characterful hotel full of period features. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Entertainment. Bar. Easy parking. Proximity to town centre and seafront.
Have stayed many times. Like the old fashioned style of hotel and excellent breakfasts. Had very good room
Lovely view. Staff helpful. Seafront position
lovely hotel centrally situated on the seafront at Weston Super Mare. Free car park for residents was a bonus. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
