Location was brilliant, the house itself felt like a home away from home. We were lucky enough to see some deer in the morning which was a real treat. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean with everything needed for a stay. There were lots of public footpaths within short distance which was great for the dogs. Would recommend going to Kinsbrook Vineyard only around the corner, dog friendly open from morning until night.

Secluded location with a few pubs and restaurants within easy driving reach. We decided to try one that Suzie mentioned and had a lovely meal at The White Lion. Appreciated the welcome we had (from the cats too) to run through everything, esp operating the hot tub. The cabin is very comfortable with great amenities and some thoughtful touches, especially the plastic glasses for hot tub use! Lovely breakfast, plentiful fruit, juice, pastries and great choice of tea and coffee. We greatly enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed more than one night, thank you.

This was by far the most beautiful accommodation of our entire trip. Cozy, unbelievably clean, with charming décor and lots of style. A large, comfortable bed, and everywhere smelled wonderfully fresh. We stayed on Christmas Day and the pub was closed, so I don’t know what it’s like when it’s open — but even the pub room smelled amazingly fresh! There were delicious homemade cookies for travelers in the small self-service bar on the first floor. The entire property is absolutely lovely, and the breakfast was delicious, served in a cozy barn with a Christmas tree. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night — we would have loved to extend our stay right away.

A classic friendly run b&b, comfortable clean room, with a great breakfast, eat from the breakfast bar as well as a choice off the menu freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, set in the countryside, 15min drive to Arundel, really enjoyed our stay.

There were lots of walks in the area, plus it was drivable...

There were lots of walks in the area, plus it was drivable to many other attractions and places of interest. There were some great places to eat in the area. The owners left a useful manual, maps and leaflets for guests.

Lovely and rustic area.

Lovely and rustic area. Lots of small pubs that serve great food, and reasonably priced drinks. The scenery in the area is magical, its like being transported back to the days of yore, quaint and delightful.
