Excellent location for a trip to Silverstone. We hired a car so was easy to access the morning of the Grand Prix. The staff were lovely and welcoming, even packing a breakfast snack for myself & my son as we headed off early in the morning to the Grand Prix.

spacious seperate studio/annexe beautifully equipped and only 10 minutes off the M1. a nice pub for evening meal a very short walk away in a gorgeous village called Newnham. nice breakfast supplied. Hugh was very welcoming.

Bit of a ghost town, we went to 3 pubs on a Thursday evening and saw about 4 other people the whole night. We were going to a nearby wedding so had to be in Weedon Bec but can’t say it left me wanting to come back.

We liked the room but were annoyed that we couldn't access the TV as it appeared we needed our own Google account and we didn't have the password. We do not have access to all our passwords while touring on holiday.

Menu for breakfast was very good, one of our friends is gluten intolerant, she was given a tablet to chose safe food she could it, that was very impressive. Guest rooms and bathrooms very much in need of an update.

Great location, fuel station next door, Tesco express close by. Right on A5 main road and A45 road. Staff professional and polite. Outside could do with a lick of paint, room I stayed in very tired and needed an upgrade. Stayed here 4 years ago and still has the same Decore and pictures on walls. Firm bed but not for me, too hard. Price paid for room excellent, staying for just one night was ok. Bathroom again tired and needs upgrading.

Liked · Overall, the room was comfortable, the location for getting to our destination (Dodmoor House for a wedding) was perfect and it was relatively easy to get a Taxi with Midland Taxi (based in Daventry just down the road). Bed was comfortable, room clean and had customer controlled electric radiator. Provided bedclothes and blankets were of good quality. Disliked · Because the property is located separate to the pub and the pub doesn't open until 10am, we had to wait outside the pub to attract the attention of the staff to ask any questions when we wanted to check out a little earlier (Admittedly this was before the "check out at 10am" time that was mentioned). Breakfast is also served when the pub opens at 10am rather than a more standard time - but it made things a bit awkward. The main function of the property is really a pub/restaurant and this shows through in that this is where their focus is. Window handles in the room "tiller" were loose (needed doing up) and the door to the room let through a lot of noise from the road despite being set back from the road by a good 50 metres.

Been staying here for a few years hotel hasn’t changed in desperate need of modernisation. Hopes filled no paint. Bare gripper roads one person from group cut there toe. Mastic missing in bathrooms. Rooms way too hot couldn’t open windows. Dirty spoons in rooms. Very uncomfortable beds.

The hotel was not there. My money was taken despite your assurance that I would pay on arrival. The telephone number on the confirmation was for another hotel in Sussex called The Seckford Hotel and Spa.. I have contacted my Nat west fraud squad.

The staff were lovely. The location of the hotel was ideal for our purpose. The room was clean and the view of the river and feikds was a bonus. We had accessibility needs and the hotel dud so much to accommodate us which was really helpful

Fab hotel. Great location to where we were. It's a bit tired & could do with a refurb, but it was perfect for our requirements. Bed very comfy, clean towels, food and drink lovely.
