The Dog and Partridge is near to the hotel. Bonus.

The Dog and Partridge is near to the hotel. Bonus. External appearance of Paddington Hotel could be so much improved by some simple gardening. Some easy jet-washing would improve the external walls and general appearance. My stay was a mere 'ok'. I just happened to be in Warrington that night. Customer service was adequate, but below average. My room was functional and everything worked. It gets an 'OK' from me, but I wouldn't take my better half there for all the tea in China!

I travelled to this hotel on Sunday 6th July . on arrival, I realised I'd booked the wrong date and the guy at reception told me he couldn't change the date in the system, but I should make a new booking and request a refund through booking.com . So, I did exactly that, Requested a refund via booking.com which they (JAYNE) told me it was none refundable and just dismissed it out of hand ! They basically ripped me off and had I know they would do this I'd have gone to a premier inn and saved some money.. Hotel was ok, but customer service , well they were just deceitful! Not how I'd treat people

We were visiting as our Granddaughter and family, who have relocated to Warrington and we wanted to spend time there with them. We travelled by train and also visited Liverpool, which is easily accessible, as is Manchester; both worth a visit, if time permits. Warrington seems to be a great place, particularly for a young families, with and extensive and diverse social, commercial and leisure infrastructures. On the weekend that we were there, a live music festival was taking place, with bands playing at many of the Town's Squares and other outdoor venues. Worth checking what's on in advance if you can.

Warrington is a old industrial city.

Warrington is a old industrial city. It has history of the military base Burwood during World War II which US soldiers were stationed at. We visited there because my husband mother grew up there and he had visited in his youth and young adulthood. We enjoyed visiting and and my husband sharing his family history of living in Warrington. There is a Library and Museum not far from the hotel. Warrington has Golden Square close by the Old Post Office with shopping and a variety of eateries.

The town was fine, fairly empty for school holiday, not much to do. Lovely Chinese food and unusual building to eat. A very big plate of food, so order with care as you wouldn’t finish the food, unless you love to eat

Lovely welcoming and we were showed to our rooms. The rooms were lovely and very clean, the shower was brilliant. Everything seemed of great quality and the bed was comfy with lots of pillows. I hope they keep the little touches like tissues and sparkling water as they continue to get more and more busy as this made the stay seem more of a home from home than a hotel. We travel to Warrington semi-regularly for work trips and we will be checking the Parr's Bank availability as our first choice from now on.

We had a room which was disability friendly. This was still difficult because although there were grab rails we find it hard to climb into a bath. Walk in showers are so much better. Breakfast was very good. Help yourself to continental and order hot food which was freshly cooked served on hot plates. Staff in every area were friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the town centre and late bars.

Location was perfect for accessing warrington. Right in the town centre on the doorstep of shops, bars and restaurants. Bus and train station a few minutes walk. Free parking was additional bonus. Everything you would need is already in the room such as shampoo, towels and cleaning products..... Even salt and pepper!
