Lovely clean convenient cottage. We booked to spend a couple of days at Longleat Safari Park and the Festival of Light. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans etc. Internet connection and TV. Games for the children indoor and outdoor, plenty of sockets with usb's.

The staff were really nice and friendly and provided a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable with added blankets on the bed to get truly cosy. We paid for the breakfast which was made with care out of quality ingredients. Plenty of parking was available too. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Plan to visit again when coming back to see Longleat.

We were so happy to have booked this wonderful B&B. Not only were we graciously welcomed much earlier in the day than the usual check-in time (which we were so thankful for due to the rain pouring down on us) but Nicki also drove us into the heart of the town in the afternoon when we just couldn’t find an available cab. The house is as welcoming as the host and we were provided with an excellent breakfast spread- from various coffee types to pastries and toast, there really was everything one could possibly want whilst enjoying the spacious living area with a view of the garden.

Warminster is a perfect location to see the many sites the...

Warminster is a perfect location to see the many sites the area has to offer, the local train station is convenient to Bath, Bristol and Salisbury all worth a visit for a day. We went out twice for an evening meal, The Lamb at Hindon and The Prince Leopald at Upton Lovell, food was fantastic, but make sure you book ahead it can get really busy.

This hotel has lovely bedrooms with great facilities. It is very clean and the staff are very helpful. It has a very pleasant location and the setting is good. It is very close to Longleat and other lovely settings.

The country side is beautiful and you are within the area of parks and visitor attractions. We visited friends and this was our second time to Warminster. We are even considering moving to this area.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is...

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

Keys were in the door of the lodge, we were also allowed on site 1.5 hours earlier due to arriving at our destination very early which was lovely. Really close to Longleat and stone henge and only 45 minutes away from cheddar gorge. Overall a lovely place to stay, check in and out was a seamless process. Looking out on the little pond every morning was lovely, saw king fishers and a heron. Also close to town to get bits for your stay and some nice restaurants in Warminster.

The rooms were quiet you wouldn't know you were above a pub. Free hot drinks available from the pub included with the room. You access the hotel via key card so separate and secure. Rooms have the old beams and the floor isn't level which I thought was a lovely kwirk. Comfy bed,hot shower and lovely and clean.

This was a gorgeous hotel. It helped that we arrived in blazing sun and everyone was lying around in the garden on deck chairs in swimming costumes.. but still! The indoor spa opening out onto lawn and outdoor spa facilities is fantastic and it is super dog friendly.
