I absolutely LOVED the water pressure of this motel. Accommodations are simple, and can appear to some outdated, however it provides basic comfort you need for a few or some days of stay. Beds were comfortable, room clean and spacious. Extra seating space available. The room does have a tea kettle, a few instant coffee packets, and a small refrigerator. There are no options for breakfast on site, however restaurants nearby are easily accessible by foot and/or car. It is quiet and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again. :)

A hidden gem just 2 minute gentle stroll from a lovely village. Lovely welcome and a super friendly feel. Really thoughtfully renovated leaving the old world charm intact but with modern convenience. We were treated to the piper on the bridgas we headed out for dinnin the village. We had a gorgeous breakfast looking out over the lawn and the deer walking through the garden was the icing on the cake.

In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Location is very quiet and peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We always make a point of visiting The Cairn whenever we are in Scotland. The hospitality is absolutely amazing, especially the wonderful cooked Scottish breakfast. The owner is a brilliant host who is always warm hearted and friendly. We cannot recommend The Cairn enough.
