Everything; location within the village, the lovely welcoming, friendly and helpful staff and standard of the room. We only stayed one night and didn’t have our evening meal at the Magpies but breakfast was excellent. The menus suggested a very high quality as did the fact that the restaurant was fully booked so make sure that you book ahead of your stay.

Honey bee cottage was bigger than we expected, although knew it was 3 bedrooms, didn't expect the size of it. Stand alone bungalow, plenty of parking if a few cars. Very clean, welcome tea coffee sugar etc. Very quiet, comfy beds

Peaceful location, close walk to town. I highly recommend Laurel Lodge for parkrunners as it's a pleasant warm-up walk to Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School. Breakfasts are delicious. Brenda is an amazing host, thank you for making my stay so memorable!

This pavillion is tucked away,and is very quiet and private. It was a winter stay ,and was warm and cosy.It soon became very warm.We obviously stayed inside,but the decking and garden outside looked very tempting.In summer it would be lovely. Everything was carefully planned for our comfort. Near Horncastle,we were soon delving in our favourite antique stores.
