A warm & cosy little beach hut with everything you need to enjoy a little time away with a beach break. Cafe, pubs, butchers, bakery & village shop within short walking distance. I parked up & didn't use the car during my stay. The view is simply the best & watching the tide is mesmerising. I will be back at some time in the future 😊

Teignmouth is a beautiful seaside town with something for everyone. Take the ferry from back beach over to Shaldon. Then go for a walk down the pirates tunnel on to the hidden beach. Take in the zoo and cafes in Shaldon Back over in Teignmouth enjoy the back beach and look on as the big ships trundle into the port to bring in animal feed or take out clay. There are loads of pubs, cafe, eateries in Teignmouth and to walk off a meal, take a walk from the Teign Bean coffee hut, along the sea wall towards Dawlish. Here you will be between the beach and the trains, don't forget to wave at the trains as they pass by.

Have been to Teignmouth before, several years ago.

Have been to Teignmouth before, several years ago. The beach front has been improved. The pier is a bit old and tatty. Some areas are run down. Lots of pubs. The Ship served lovely food at affordable prices. The beach is a mix of red sand and pebbles. The harbour area is a mix of industrial and leisure activities. There is a handy passenger ferry across to Sheldon.

I loved the ferry to shaldon, Ness cove, the people are so friendly and helpful. It's so accessible to other places too. Short hop into Dawlish & Dawlish Warren, Babbacombe and Torquay. Powderham Castle is well worth a visit. Short train hop to Starcross and ferry to Exmouth. Lovely walks beautiful beaches and coves. Oh and not forgetting Totnes on Fridays, amazing shopping and delightful cafes. What's not to love about Teignmouth.

Teignmouth is lovely.

Teignmouth is lovely. We saw Police out on patrol every day which was very comforting (unlike Plymouth where we didn't see a Police patrol over 3 days). Plenty of plants and the Town looks well-cared for. A lot of shopping options - and even bank hubs! The history of the Wetherspoons was very interesting. Great service. It is a great place to explore as it is very flat. The walk cross to Dawlish is scenic and again nice and flat. You can view the trains up-close as they run alongside the sea wall. Teignmouth pavilions is a great asset to Teignmouth. We saw a show and also attended a Vinyl/LP Sale there. The View is an excellent restaurant - the staff are lovely. Shaldon is also worth visiting on the great little Shaldon ferry.

The things we liked best were the The Den playground, the pedestrianised promenade, the ferry to Shaldon and the beach at Ness Cove. Everything was within walking distance - even for a three year old. We were also fortunate to encounter a parade and fireworks in Teignmouth and Shaldon Water Festival in the same week. There were many food options, but the Vietnamese-inspired Halulu stood out. It provided the tastiest food and the owners were happy to adapt dishes for children - absolutely brilliant.

Beautiful room overlooking the seafront. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Could hear the waves crashing at night! Exceptionally clean and tidy room, lovely furnishings, very clean and functional bathroom. Great options at breakfast time, beautifully cooked food. Nice and relaxed. Friendly and helpful hosts. Cleaning staff also very friendly and helpful. Hotel is perfectly located on the flat, with easy access to the beach, promenade, cliff walks and just a few minutes from town and railway station. Absolutely loved my stay here.

Great location, easy to walk anywhere in Teigmouth from here, a minute walk to the train station, ~5 mins to the seafront. Parking in Teigmouth was no hassle when we were there, avaialbility in all car parks we tried and the council offer a week pass to use any in Teignbridge on their website.
