The house was wonderful, it has everything you need to make the most of your vacation. The kids enjoyed the short time spent there as they had lots of games to play during the evening. Very clean and comfortable (very comfortable beds 😀) and the host very friendly and helpful. Located on the main street the property is surrounded by lots of local restaurants/ pubs with a good variety to pick from. Close to a couple of supermarkets. Accessible to any area around the Lakes for any hiking experience and close to sea if you want a different day out. Will definitely come back at some point.

The design of the room was lovely, it was really clean and stylish. The self check in element was easy to do and the owners were proactively helpful through messages. the included breakfast at the veeva cafe is the best included breakfast I’ve ever had. if/when i come back to cockermouth I’ll be making sure i stay here. wow what a treat it was!

Had the weather been warmer it wood have been nice to sit...

Had the weather been warmer it wood have been nice to sit outside the house in the nice picknick table area. The immediate surroundings were not so interesting for walking about but this was made up for by the vicinity of Cockermouth and other places in fast and easy reach of a car.
