These guys are nailing the perfect service that there’s no way you’d get in so many other places. The proprietors and every one of their amazing team, are friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast was bang on. Garden space for nice evenings. A lovely little daytime bar. Parking spaces. On the front. Don’t let folks saying about noise put you off, seagulls are present, yes, as they are in all seaside towns, I think in any hotel you’d hear them around! We didn’t have any problem with noise, in fact I couldn’t believe how quiet it was after 10:30pm, and we stayed a three night weekend. Absolutely loved it. Keep doing what you’re doing, you work long days, and go the extra mile for people. We had an amazing weekend, and can’t thank you all enough. Claire and Jo.

What can i say - its a hidden gem - beautiful location the view of the bay from our balcony was breath taking, beautiful premises the decoration and colour scheme, lovely staff and a fab restaurant our evening meal was faultless. Everthing you could want for a short break , spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and on site parking.

I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the ultra friendly staff especially isabelle and fabio. The whole team gave us a nice warm welcome and the foods pretty good too. Honestly although we are locals we like something different from the norm and this will now be our new go to place for a nice little break

close to harbour … beds so so comfortable, 24 hour bar was nice to get away and just have a quiet late drink … guy behind bar works the nights very pleasant and helpful breakfast was good also nothing bad to say .

Everything from 1st contact with the staff at reception to check out the staff were welcoming friendly nothing was to much trouble.the breakfast was lovely with a very good choice with table service which was served brilliantly served by the breakfast staff The reception bar restaurant area's were clean and well kept,the route from the lift was to our room was down 4 steps and up another 4 steps the room was clean tidy with plenty of clothing space,there was a good supply of tea and coffee. We paid extra for a sea view room and wasn't disappointed there was a large window with two lounge chairs and a side table to sit with a cuppa and watch the world to go by

Loved all of the places where we ate out, lots of choice. There were lots of places to walk and scenic places to visit nearby. We loved walking and also the peace and tranquillity of the area. It is a good place for nature lovers.

Beautiful traditional Devon village.

Beautiful traditional Devon village. Lots of walks with great views (hilly) and easy access to the coastal path. Great Sunday lunch at the Church House Inn (note closed on Mondays). Village Community Shop stocked with all essentials and more.

I enjoyed seeing local residents walking their children to school. Also having the village shop very close. It was good to be temporarily part of the community. The food was very tasty in the pub oppsiyr - and very convenient

we l;iked the cottage and surroundings plus lots of places nearby to visit.the village was amazing and had places to eat. we rate this property five star plus!! a very cosy cottage with absolutely every thing we may have needed. we will be back.

We particularly enjoyed the village/small town of Shaldon.

We particularly enjoyed the village/small town of Shaldon. Gorgeous little place by the estuary across from Teignmouth. We also took the Steam train from Paignton to Kingswear, ferry to Dartmouth, and river cruise from Dartmouth. Ferry back to Kingswear, then steam train back to Paignton - what a stunning day! Greenway is also highly recommended- the summer home of Agatha Christie. The Nest as our accommodation simply made the whole week idyllic and highly recommended.

Perfect place to simply unwind and relax.

Perfect place to simply unwind and relax. (Thank you to Eve & Mike) Would recommend. Good facilities provided by the owners - who were on hand to assist, but totally respected our privacy. Cottage very well equipped. Gorgeous views over countryside from garden area. Easy to get to pub/restaurant in village - (ideally book a table). The Church House Inn. Tiny lane to reach A road but then easy access to Torquay, Babbacombe one direction and Teignmouth, Shaldon the other way.
