The Swan Hotel is magnificent. The rooms are cozy, well-decorated, and clean. Every day we had cookies, coffee, pods, and tea. The rooms overlooking the river are wonderful. Great breakfast, both continental and English. We dined at the restaurant and stayed the pub – everything was excellent: the food, the beer, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very kind, professional, and helpful.

The Heathrow South Apartments by Charles Hope, is phenomenal! I loved that it's situated right in the middle of the City Centre, and had all the major shops and restaurants around. Booked this hotel last minute because our flight was canceled at the last moment. London was too far to go back to because we had an early flight in the morning again. Wanted to end the nice weekend with a nice hotel. And that it was indeed! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Would never of thought of it - used to staying in London - but this is definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit. Beautiful rooms, good service.

Staines, like most towns in the UK is suffering from decline of the traditional high street. This is mainly due to out of town shopping centres and large supermarkets. Very good market in the high street on a Saturday.

Staines was close to the attractions we wished to visit (Legoland and Chessington) and had a range of takeaways, restaurants and shops near to our accommodation. Parking was available locally and it made a good base for travel.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow. It was a good base for a 2 day visit to Windsor & then Twickenham. Trains run regularly to both. Town was well facilitated with shops, food outlets both major and independent businesses

Lovely location near the river Thames which was nice to walk by in the morning and evenings. Good local area with shops and restaurants and the train station goes straight into London. Really easy to access nearby transport links and Heathrow airport too.

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we...

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

If you are looking for an authentic traditional accomodation ivo London (Heathrow), you will find it here. It's a really lovely old hotel with an amazing river view, cosy room, excellent food and very friendly, attentive staff. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Thank you! London and Windsor were easily reached by train.

Hotel very clean and tidy. Nice bar and patio area overlooking the river Thames. Very comfy bed, quilt and pillows. All clean and fresh. Large bathroom with large walk in shower, all recently refurbished. Stains town centre a short walk away. River wal goes right past the back of the hotel along the river bank

Large well-equipped room and very good shower. The staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed the breakfast. Free parking on site too, always a bonus. Good location - very close to the river towpath, the shops/restaurants/bars and only 20 minutes walk to Staines train station.
