Wow! Amazing 3 night stay! From start to finish faultless, was greeted by James and made to feel so at ease and welcome. The guest house was absolutely spotlessly clean with everything you could need and more. Three nights of great sleep in a super comfy bed. Lovely meal at the wheat-sheaf pup/restaurant only a couple of miles away. Our little one loved meeting the horses a short walk around the corner!

We were just blown away by the Studio, Katie had thought of everything you could need for a perfect getaway experience, and she was so helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we've found anywhere in our travels - we even found two hot water bottles, just in case (not needed). The breakfast provided was just right for us. Our dog, Grace, was in her element, loads of walkies and places to explore. Just wonderful!!

I received a warm welcome when I arrived and had parking reserved for me on the drive. The hosts has thought of everything I might need for my stay including fresh milk and things for breakfast. The space was clean and well-presented. It was the perfect base from which I could visit friends who live locally and I’ll definitely be back again.

Hosts, Emma and Rob, were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our welcome basket was extremely generous and thoughtfully done. It was a relaxing, rural retreat, just what we were looking for. Very central to seeing interesting places in the surrounding area. The accommodation was beautifully presented and every necessity was provided for. Comfortable and cosy. We would certainly recommend a stay here. thank you, Emma & Rob

Stainby is a pleasant village in a rural area with good...

Stainby is a pleasant village in a rural area with good walks, nice woods and wildlife. There is no shop or pub within walking distance. Some produce available at local farm(s) but not really any farm shop as such. I was also visiting friends nearby so otherwise I didn't really eat out. But I really enjoyed my visit to Easton Walled Garden less than 5 miles away.
