This place is amazing. Beautiful surroundings - views, nature, sheep everywhere. Very nice lady, we got delicious fresh pastries on arrival, lots of choice for breakfast - all included. Very close to the beach with dinosaur footprints and The Quirring. If you want to spend a great time on the island and relax in a comfortable bed with a view of the ocean, we recommend it!

Lovely inn located in a remote area of the Isle of Skye - woke up to a beautiful view since we did not see anything when arriving. We enjoyed sitting beside the fireplace and enjoying our drinks as we read our books. Very friendly staff. The breakfast seemed a little pricy so we found another place to eat.

This place is like magic! We were amazed by the view and the apartment was much bigger and equipped than we expected. Absolutely stunning area and you could really 'hideaway' from everything. I especially loved the bathroom and traditional Scottish shower gel. Oh and that view from the kitchen table! Thank you for our stay, wish to come back!

Very clean, cosy, and comfy. Stayed here to go visit the Fairy Glen and then hike the Old Man of Storr. Both were perfectly comfortable either on foot or with public transport. The house is less than 5 minutes from the bus stop and the harbour which is ideal if you, like me, need to catch a ferry in the morning.

Just everything I think that the time of year we were there...

Just everything I think that the time of year we were there (April) made a big difference, less traffic and tourists. The roads area a little narrow and tight driving at times but still passable with care. The beach at Staffin was just great, we spent time just relaxing sitting chilling watching the waves crashing over the rocks. Bliss All the area around Staffin was just amazing, beautiful and serene.

Staffin is a lovely Trotternish township to base yourself in for some of the most stunning natural scenery on Skye. Easily accessible on the main bus route from Portree/Uig, you can be settled in beautiful, quiet scenery away from the bustle shortly after arriving on Skye; it has beautiful views across the bay and a range of accommodation options to suit everyone.

Better than the pictures on the inside. Wonderful views including the Old Man himself on most days. Beach trail that starts from your front door - head down to the beach or settle down by the waterfall with a book. Short drive to Staffin for dino footprints and a lovely store with everything you need. Wifi worked perfectly. Easy to maintain during your stay as well.

Staffing is an amazing place.

Staffing is an amazing place. Lots of walks, views, nature and activities. A tiny dinosaur’s museum at just 5’ away. Just around the corner of the beach and waterfalls. Great views from outside the house and good internet.

The area around Staffin is so beautiful.

The area around Staffin is so beautiful. Very secluded so you do need a car. It’s very close to the Quiriang for hiking or just checking out the beautiful vistas. We used this as our home base for Isle of Skye and everything on Skye is easily accessible from the Staffin area. Things are all close distance wise, but driving is slow on the narrow roads so will take longer than you think and Apple Maps actually did a very good job at predicting the time for a journey. The roads were better than we expected but do keep an eye out for potholes! We cooked our meals but Portree has lots of options for restaurants and groceries. Staffin itself has a small convenience store and cafe with friendly staff.

While at Staffin we drove and/or walked to many of the local...

While at Staffin we drove and/or walked to many of the local and nearby areas and points-of-interest. No matter what we found the views unique and worth the effort, and, the people extraordinarily welcoming, helpful and happy to answer our questions about the town and its history. Being near the ocean the roads, hills and sidewalks offered very walkable options for our outdoor sojourns — just be sure to dress in layers as the wind can quickly change to feel of the day.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Beinn Edra B&B while exploring the northern tip of the Isle of Skye. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. Our host, Rachel, provided a sumptuous, made-to-order breakfast each morning and offered helpful suggestions on where to go and what to see, as only a local can. We heartily recommend this B&B when you are considering accommodation options on the Isle of Skye.

The property was spacious, clean and tidy. The surroundings were quiet and the view was amazing. Beach was in walking distance. The place provided peaceful and quiet rest even for our group of seven, including kids and elderly. The property owner kindly dropped by to make sure that we found everything ok and we knew how to operate all the kitchen equipment. We will definitely recommend The Old Inn in Staffin!

The pod is living with its name as it has the view of Quiraing right at your doorstep. Duncan and Kristine were the best hosts. Duncan drove us to Quiraing car park from Staffin and collected us at Flordigarry after completing the walk. Then, he drove us back to the city as we were only commuting on the island. We were grateful for the genuine kindness and hospitability.
