Breakfast was included and exceptional. Dinner was an excellent set menu choice and great value. The wine list is good and not over priced. I stayed twice in one week in two different rooms. Both were very comfortable and quiet with very good in-room facilities and newly renovated bathrooms.

Sidmouth is a delightful coastal town that exceeded our expectations. The high street offers a excellent range of diverse shops - refreshingly different from the usual chain stores you find elsewhere, with plenty of independent boutiques and specialist retailers. The natural scenery is outstanding. The beach and clifftop walks provide superb views along the Jurassic Coast, and there are numerous well-maintained walking routes around the town for all abilities. It's the perfect base for anyone who enjoys getting out on foot. Despite its compact size, Sidmouth punches well above its weight. The town has a good cinema and some truly great restaurants offering varied cuisine. Parking was straightforward to find, which made exploring stress-free. Overall, Sidmouth strikes a lovely balance - it's compact enough to navigate easily on foot, yet offers plenty to see, do and enjoy. We'd thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing break with quality amenities and stunning coastal surroundings.

visited in December and weather wasn’t the best but lovely little town with plenty of places to stop and easy walk from hotel into town. Even seeing the sea in rough conditions and watching the surfers was a bonus as we live in centre of \England

Amazing place with long esplanade.

Amazing place with long esplanade. You have sand beach, you have rocky beach, there's gardens and a high observation point, with a clock tower and nice cafe. Lots of restaurants at walking distance, lots of charity and souvenir shops. Stayed there in October, but it was quite populated, so not sure how busy it gets during the summer months. It is totally worth a trip.

We’ve been coming for many years but the number of independent shops has decreased as in many resorts but we still enjoy shopping in Fields and the Paragon bookshop. It’s a lovely town and we’ll keep visiting!

Sidmouth is a charming seaside town with independent and chain stores. The area is flat and the prom good for a walk with a path up to the gardens where there is a lovely cafe. There are pubs and restaurants for food though the menus were all very similar and not very exciting. We ate twice in Roma and the food was really good and the service great and all at reasonable prices.
