Comfy bed, really clean, toasty warm (it was November) and loads of space. The location was perfect - we like the restaurant in the pub so it was ideal to be staying on the premises. Also it was close to where friends were staying. Every time we've been to the Bear we've had a good experience - such friendly staff. It was also dog friendly - a big plus.

There are least a couple of good pubs nearby and Sennybrisge has excellent access to the Brecon Beacons national park. The main park visitor centre is only a short drive away, as is Pen Y Fan and The Black Mountain.

We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important.

We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important. We tried two of the three pubs and enjoyed the food at both. We would like to have walked from the property but this wasn’t possible, which was a disappointment.

Kitchen & lounge for guest use. Very clean and comfortable room with en-suite (bath with shower over).

You won't find a more welcoming hotel than this! The staff we're utterly lovely and made you feel at home straight away. The chef came out and chatted with us several times at dinner and breakfast and really engaged with the kids and made us all laugh!
