Beach House Hotel, hotel in Seahouses

Located in Seahouses, 600 metres from Seahouses North Beach, Beach House Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.

Really welcoming staff and facility in a great & convenient location. Our pet friendly room was on the ground floor with French doors leading to a nice private patio area. Breakfast was included, the rooms were warm and the stay was excellent value for money.

Links Lets Room Only, hotel in Seahouses

The Links Lets Room Only offers room only en suite accommodation with free parking.

What a great suprise - spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable bed and in a great location (with parking). Way better than the hotel on Lindisfarne which was 3 X the price with an uncomfortable 6 year old cheap mattress.

Lovely location and excellent parking Cottage was cosy and warm for us on a cold week in November. Cooking facilities best ever had, lovely comfy beds too. Plenty of comfortable space to chill and relax after a rather chilly walk.

Fellow dog walkers at home recommended Seahouses as a lovely place to visit and as being very dog friendly. Thats exactly what it was and was what we were looking for on this occasion. It was February and not very busy but there was plenty of places to eat and drink and the scenery along the beach and cliff top walks were dramatic.

As a football fan,my only regret, along with other fans ,is the lack of venues to watch matches.A good income for someone who could provide the coverage. Apart from this self important view.Nowt the matter with seahouses.A short bus ride to Bamburgh too.

Not the 1st time visited as only live 90 mins away.

Not the 1st time visited as only live 90 mins away. My impression is that the locals aren't bothered if you like it or not - you're only a tourist. Not the friendliest of places & just want your cash. Have had appalling service in places

We have been to seahouses a number of times though not in recent years. A small but friendly and welcoming town. Good food, pubs and a few independent shops that are well stocked. Excellent walks along the seafront to sandy beach. Ideal for the dog walkers. Some boat trips on offer over to the Farne Islands and a trip to Holy Island with a 2 hour stay is in offer. A trip to Bamburgh Castle for their Christmas in time was excellent with a lunch to finish in their cafe. Our latest stay was over the christmas period - a great getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Though the seafront and beach were really busy on the 25th

Very good base from which to explore Northumberland.

Very good base from which to explore Northumberland. First thing I noticed was the sound of birds, take your binoculars. Good range of shops and places to eat. Friendly place kept to a high standard by local authority staff. Particularly enjoyed the Bamburgh Inn - well worth a visit. Also recommend the Black Swan. Very interesting rocky part of the beach is worth exploring if you have good mobility. Recommend walk up the beach from Seahouses to Bamburgh - check bus timetables if you don’t want to walk back, go to Craster and walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, visit Barter Books at Alnwick, load of fantastic gardens and houses - try Howick Gardens and Wallington.

Car parking fees at seahouses main car park are shite ! Hotel is good value, a great bar/ restaurant, breakfasts are amazing, and lady who looks after it is fan bloody tasting! Best poached eggs and butter is to die for, [ according to my dietician] An amazing pub, quite quiet at this time of year, a massive contrast to summer, but Bar staff amazing, despite having to put up with a local leek club bloke who bored the tits off anyone in the pub about his renault ecu unit and brake block - feck me !,he needs to get out more !

The property is excellent clean, up to date and homely. Within 10 mins you can be in Bamburgh within 30 mins you can be in Alnwick ( Harry Potter Castle) and there is sooo much more you can do in the area. The location is excellent for walks and all amenities. If you like golf Seahouses Golf course will not disappoint the 10th hole is my favourite. If you like fishing there are soo many options. The village is excellent with plenty to do for families and great pubs for those that like a drink.

The staff were very friendly and helped us immediately to find a safe, dry place for our large tandem bicycle. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was everything you could want and cooked exactly as you wanted, and I considered the Links Hotel to be eco-friendly because the dining room uses cloth table napkins, not endless and wasteful paper napkins. Thank you Links Hotel.
