This was an overnight stay we booked for a day in Canterbury and a day in Herne bay. This lovely traditional, charming, cosy hotel is full of character and in a fantastic location for visiting various locations. We stayed in a family room which was very nice, beds very comfy, and a nice little en suite, with a basic tv and kettle and coffee facilities. We were on a main through road, however little noise could be heard and the black out curtains were fantastic. We didn’t try the bar, but looked lovely, what you’d expect of a country pub and a food menu available. Breakfast was offered also. Plenty of free parking and a cute little beer garden.

We had a fabulous stay! The staff were so friendly and really fast at replying to any questions, which made everything easy and stress-free. The place was spotless – so clean and well looked after. Our room was lovely, really comfy and spacious. We also appreciated the little extras like the bottled water and the coffee machine – those small touches really made a difference. Will definitely be staying again!!

I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Sally, the host of the Aqua Bay. She surrounded us with a friendly and warm atmosphere, it feels like home there. The room was enough for the three of us, spotlessly clean and cozy. Also Sally was so kind that bought a cot for our baby! It is a hard to find a place which accepts babies, and this home certainly welcomes babies and their parents.

The place was absolutely perfect (it's not a joke!)! Everything was clean and tidy - extra soft towels, super comfy bed, a lovely owner and tiny surprises. The room (and the bathroom as well) was absolutely clean and disinfected. When we will visit Margate again, I'm sure, we will choose Liz's place again.

Sarre is a lovely little village steeped in history and the paranormal but sadly the Crown inn although is haunted is shabby to stay in . The spirits are mostly unimpressed by lack of visitors now smarten the hotel side up and make it like who’d have thought it in Headcorn
