We can only recommend. Our room was very nice and big enologhe for us three. The staff es extraordinary. The receptionist very helpful and breakfast prepared especially for us earlier as we were on hurry. And it was very delicious. Even of a little far from the Beach (we were without car) we would come back! Thanks to the Team!

It is difficult to pick. our visit was a celebration one, planned sometime in advance so our time was occupied with friends. We know St Austel well,it is not a town to visit, but the location of the hotel is central to many lovely places which if you were on holiday the location is perfect.

Hard to get cabs. Spent most of time looking for places to eat, because of no food in royal inn. Didn't get to see many places. Best thing was a pizza delivered to us in another pub. Hotel was too far from any eminities.

St. Austell is a working town not really a vacation destination. But it has excellent transport facilities - bus and train to all the major Cornwall attractions and is perfect for the Eden Project. I couldn’t find a Tescos or similar.

Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station which was 5minutes away. No buses to the Heligan gardens on a Sunday so had to take taxis. Great hotel next door - food was excellent and there was a Saturday cabaret which was excellent easy to get around St Austell

The town itself seemed tired and dreary.

The town itself seemed tired and dreary. It was hard to find the 'centre' - you need to park at Priory Car Park then walk. The surrounding area has plenty to see. Recommend Wheal Martyn Clay works (and Eden Project, of course!)

Faboulous and delicate breakfast with various eggs you can choose from. Many produce / products are locally souced. Self made granola and compote. Great selection of teas. Employees very helpful and friendly. A indoor swimming pool if you stay a bit longer. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet as well. I was there for one night to visit Eden Project. You can reach it by a short walk directly from the hotel.

Really nice room with all the facilities you would expect from a more expensive hotel, including an en suite shower/ toilet. Plenty of supplies to make hot drinks, cold water also available. Full breakfast included. Bed was comfortable and loads of channels to watch on the TV. Free wifi was good. Host was very friendly and even offered to pick me up from the station.
