This hotel was beyond amazing for a short family stay with 2 young kids. Room was spacious and very clean, restaurant/pub food was so tasty for both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were exceptional. Really child-friendly place but would cater to anyone.

Firstly Shannon was an exceptional host, picking us up from Exton, offering to drop us off at the pub for dinner and collect us later, or go and pickup some pizzas. The woodshed was so spacious and comfortable that we decided to stay in and order some pizzas. And after a wet day on the SDW there was plenty of room to dry clothing.

Very comfortable/well appointed Bedroom/Cabin located at the rear of the garden adjacent to the car park. Exceptional Inn with a relaxed and informal atmosphere and friendly staff, we only booked for 1 night as a stopover but wished we had stayed longer. Evening Meal and Breakfast were both delicious and our dog Flora also enjoyed our stay and the local walks.

Really cosy cabin with everything we needed. Lovely location with great view of the stars. We loved the fire pit and we're really grateful to Helen's husband for helping us light it. The online guide we were sent was really useful too.

Little Hawthorns is an absolutely delightful annex which ,at the time of my stay, was bright and airy and cozy on my return in the evening. Everything you could hope for was available and in the fridge was milk, butter and fresh local eggs. Fresh sourdough bread, a variety of teas and a cafeteria and coffee and in the bathroom, although compact it was beautifully set out and the shower was perfect.

Amazing location. Very nice host and private forest available for a little walk. The terras in front of the house is free to use and excellent to chill after a nice day. Breakfast was nice. Ashford Hangers national reserve are closeby and walkable by foot.
