Great location, maximum 5 minute walk from the harbour. The apartment has everything you could need. I was able to park my car directly outside the property which I would think in peak season would be very beneficial as the narrow streets get very busy. I called the owner very late at night as I arrived later than planned and they were very helpful.

Porthleven is a lovely village with a harbour, cafes, beach...

Porthleven is a lovely village with a harbour, cafes, beach and many independent shops to browse around. A good base from which to explore West Cornwall and the Lizard Peninsula. The town of Helston is only a 10 minute drive away should you want a big supermarket and more shops.

We didn’t go into Porthleven itself as it was really busy...

We didn’t go into Porthleven itself as it was really busy with not much parking facilities! But St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Kynance Cove is all within half an hour off Porthleven and stunning! Make sure you visit the seal sanctuary, they do wonderful work x

Porthleven is a wonderful small seaside village with lots of good places to eat, drink and shop. It’s got a wonderful picturesque harbour, a lovely beach and plenty of walks. Couple of good sized car parks a short walk from the harbour. Remember to book up for meals out as it gets very busy. Plenty of rock pooling, crabbing places, great beach .

Porthleven has 3 pubs and lots of places to eat.

Porthleven has 3 pubs and lots of places to eat. All are conveniently located around the harbour. There is a small supermarket just off the harbour too. It is also directly on the south west coastal path, so you can literally start walks from your front door step.

Lovely harbour area, full of great restaurants and gift shops. (Kota Kai especially fabulous). Nice place to mosey. Relaxing feel to the area. Lots of nice places within short driving distance, and good walks. Not too busy in June.

The Artist Loft was a great place to stay in Porthleven near all the restaurants, shops and the pretty harbour. The room was attractively decorated, very comfortable and a great place to rest after a day on the coast path. The shower was hot and very powerful, and the TV worked well for watching the paralympics! Plus, I left my shoes behind by accident and the staff very kindly posted them on.

Everything! We stay at the Harbour Inn regularly when we're in Porthleven because it is one of the most relaxing places to be. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms decorated to a high standard and immaculately clean. The hospitality tray is also very nice and well thought out. Breakfast is scrumptious with a good menu and a continental breakfast area too. Thank you!
