We arrived after 11pm but were still made a fuss of by front desk staff - which was much appreciated after 9 hours of driving to get to the hotel. The room was great and the breakfast was nice.

This place offers the best bang for your buck! The location is ideal, within walking distance of Devil's Point, Hoe Park, and the Barbican. You'll also find the nearby Royal William Yard, which is an emerging neighborhood with a variety of restaurants. From there, you can catch a ferry to the old port (multiple trips daily, costing £4 for a single trip) and take a scenic walk back along the waterfront, which we highly recommend! During our stay in June 2023, on-site parking was under construction and appeared to be nearly completed. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, surpassing the average size. Attention to detail is evident throughout. You'll find both European and USB plug sockets. As you may know, British bathrooms usually don't have plug sockets (except for shavers), but to compensate for this, the room is equipped with a socket near the full-length mirror, allowing ladies to dry or straighten their hair while looking in the mirror. Irons and ironing boards are not provided in the rooms, but each floor has three communal ironing rooms. There's also a small desk where I worked for half a day, which was perfect. However, if preferred, you can work downstairs in the amazing lobby, where a free printer is available! Additionally, the rooms are extremely soundproof, and the wall-to-floor curtains can fully darken the room, providing the best sleep imaginable! The lobby is wonderfully decorated, with a youthful and modern vibe. We particularly loved the availability of board games such as chess, UNO, card sets, Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, and there is also a foosball! Many guests enjoyed these games, and the lobby never felt deserted, even late at night. This hotel is pet friendly, and our cat had an amazing stay! The staff members are incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make your stay extra special. Don't forget to try their awesome Got Moxy cocktails!

Room was very spacious with a large bed and a sofa. Very nice to be able to sit on a sofa to relax and watch TV instead of having to sit up in bed. Large make up table and a nice bathroom. Very easy bus route to town if you want to leave your car at the large hotel car park.

During our stay in June 2023, on-site parking was under construction and appeared to be nearly completed. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, surpassing the average size. Attention to detail is evident throughout. You'll find both European and USB plug sockets. As you may know, British bathrooms usually don't have plug sockets (except for shavers), but to compensate for this, the room is equipped with a socket near the full-length mirror, allowing ladies to dry or straighten their hair while looking in the mirror. Irons and ironing boards are not provided in the rooms, but each floor has three communal ironing rooms. There's also a small desk where I worked for half a day, which was perfect. A lovely village on the edge of Dartmoor and Plymouth. Has a tesco express, Aldi, a couple of pubs and a few takeaways, we used Ridgeway pizza and Plympton fish bar, both were good meals for the price.
