If you are looking for peace and serenity, this is your place. Dunfallandy House is a charming country manor surrounded with small forest and farm fields.. Situated just a short walk from the town center, it provides a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions. Hosts go to extraordinary lengths to make you feel at home. Breakfast was great and we are so sorry we weren't able to visit the Lounge bar in the evening

I stayed at this hotel in Pitlochry for a couple o days and it was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal – surrounded by the beautiful Scottish countryside with stunning views of the hills, and just a short walk from the town centre. The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice on what to see and do in the area. The traditional Scottish breakfast served each morning was generous and delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in the Highlands. I’ll definitely be back!

Picturesque property along the lake, with beautiful views and a cozy/comfortable setting overall. Rooms were very spacious and luxurious while the facilities in the property added to the old world charm. They even offer a complimentary pickup & drop from the train station. It is also very easy getting in and out of Pitlochry City by foot and comfortable connectivity to nearby towns & Aberfeldy distillery if you have a car.

Plenty of coffeee shops and some quaint little independent shops. Could do with a couple of 'specialist' restaurants although nearly all hotels do evening meals. Prices are increasing in lots of places nowadays which makes it necessary to curb spending on items bought on a whim.

A pleasant little town. Plenty of good walks in the area. Could visit without a car and find it very pleasant. The dam and visitor centre are worth seeing. The Festival Theatre is excellent and the “Enchanted Forest” light and music experience in October and early November is not to be missed.

This was our second stay at the Pitlochry Hydro. Breakfast choice was very good as was dinner. Comfortable bed but was a bit cold during the night and it wasnt clear how to turn on the room heating or thev radiator in the bathroom. We put the big blanket on the bed. One thing though the distance from the hotel to the town centre is stated as 0.2 miles on booking.com but its certainly furthur. We enjoyed our 2 night break.

Very comfortable and clean room in a hotel with a very good position in the centre of Pitlochry. The room was a vey good size with a very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities available. The bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and freshly prepared. Would certainly recommend this as a place to stay for a visit to the area.

The hotel was stated as dog friendly. The dogs where not allowed in the main hotel but assigned to a building across street which was a tired and very isolated from services. To top this off the main hotel food offer finished at 1200 meaning the only availability was one hour before check out given it was shut afternoon and evening Very misrepresented booking.com advert
