Pitlochry is a beautiful place, full of interesting, independent shops and lots of fantastic walks. The scenery is stunning. Plenty of places to park, some are free. It is near to other lovely towns and villages, with the A9 very close by.

Plenty of coffeee shops and some quaint little independent shops. Could do with a couple of 'specialist' restaurants although nearly all hotels do evening meals. Prices are increasing in lots of places nowadays which makes it necessary to curb spending on items bought on a whim.

A pleasant little town. Plenty of good walks in the area. Could visit without a car and find it very pleasant. The dam and visitor centre are worth seeing. The Festival Theatre is excellent and the “Enchanted Forest” light and music experience in October and early November is not to be missed.

Pitlochry is a beautiful Highland Perthshire town surrounded by lovely countryside and hills. It's an excellent centre for walking and cycling, while its Festival Theatre has a programme of performances throughout the year. It's a place my family and I have visited many times over the years. We were there at the time of the annual Enchanted Forest event (though didn't attend) - and impressive light and sound show in the middle of a forest, which is particularly great for children.

A beautiful accessible little town.

A beautiful accessible little town. Fabulous independant shops and restaurants. Pitlochry is gorgeous all year round but particularly in the Autumn. Locals are very welcoming. A wee visit to the gorgeous St Brides RC chapel is recommended. And the Seafood Linguine in the Auld Smiddy is to die for. Thanks to everyone who made our stay special 🧡

Cute little town for overnight or weekend.

Cute little town for overnight or weekend. Lots of distilleries and breweries to check out. There are hiking trails or just walk up the hill to Moulin Hotel’s bar for a pint. Award winning Ian Burnett Chocolate shop is just a 20 minute drive away.

The staff were very helpful and friendly the room we had was lovely very spacious warm and clean and tidy and nice view. The beds were comfortable, I would love to go back again but stay longer. Pitlochry hydro hotel is the place to be, could not fault it in any way, the leisure facilities were great too and we had some entertainment last night. We had a lovely breakfast before we left to go home this morning, the manager of hotel allowed us to stay in room instead of having to check out at 10 we were allowed to stay to 11.

Beautiful traditional hotel (that's clearly currently getting some re-decoration and freshening). Room (3 single beds) was huge with double aspect windows. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was quiet through the night so we all slept very well. Buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. Amazing central location in Pitlochry, easy walking distance to the Festival Theatre. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, which was beyond our expectations. The staff are so helpful and kind, we felt like home. Much attention was payed to the details of comfort, functionality and elegance, making the rooms exceptionally welcoming and stylish. The breakfast was delicious and had everything we wanted. Would like to come back and stay in the same establishment in Pitlochry.

The hotel was stated as dog friendly. The dogs where not allowed in the main hotel but assigned to a building across street which was a tired and very isolated from services. To top this off the main hotel food offer finished at 1200 meaning the only availability was one hour before check out given it was shut afternoon and evening Very misrepresented booking.com advert

Beautiful house and garden, easy walk into town. Our room was amazing, 5 star hotel standard with huge bathroom and roll top bath. Lots of little extras like tea, coffee, shortbread and whisky as well as luxury toiletries. Breakfast was also excellent. Eunice and Gordon were the perfect hosts, and went out of their way to be helpful.
