Location was lovely, hotel was dated and the shower was the worst I’ve ever used. We were given an upgraded room by a member of staff and it was dated.

Location and comfort. Food was excellent in the pub. There was a problem with the hot water in the morning, however once it was reported we were recompensed and an engineer was on site quickly.

Our room was good - a fine size, with a big, comfortable bed and very clean. Towels were refreshed every day. There was a hairdryer, fan and iron situated inside the wardrobe for guest use. Electric sockets were in good proximity to mirrors. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The bathroom was modern, good light up mirror above basin. One slight downside was that the shower was in the bath and the side was quite high, it wouldn’t suit everyone.
Breakfast was very good. Large room to the side of dining room laid out with buffet. Plenty of choice and replenished often.

The restaurants and nightlife were excellent considering the size of Pitlochry. Reasonable range of shops, not too tacky. Found accommodation relatively expensive compared to cities ie Glasgow, Dundee and on a par with Edinburgh.

Beautiful and friendly.
Beautiful and friendly. The village is lovely with a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants. There are great walks and excellent opportunities for cycling.
There are some interesting shops too and if you're into tweed, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We first visited Pitlochry in autumn 2019 - it was delightful then - it’s now spring 2024 - just as enjoyable, not a lot has changed. The main shopping precinct is busy with bus tours and particularly with tourists over the weekend - early mornings are best to get a seat in a coffee shop . To beat the crowds, take the suspension bridge across Tummel River to the Port-na-Craig area - the stone cottages and pub by the river bank is a tranquil area to enjoy. Continue along the walking path to the ‘salmon ladder’ and beyond to Faskally Wood or much further to the Killiecrankie Visitors Centre.
Absolutely delightful B&B - perfectly clean, comfortable beds, really nice bathroom with good shower. The breakfasts were amazing in choices, preparation and presentation. The owners were excellent hosts providing a friendly and happy stay. We appreciated their recommendations for evening meals and local sights to see. Lovely home and well cared for grounds. Everything was perfect. We could walk into the charming town of Pitlochry.
Very friendly staff, lovely hotel and excellent breakfast. What made our stay was the owner coming to Pitlochry Main Street to tell us he was upgrading us to the four poster suite - definitely above and beyond and really appreciated as it was our 35th wedding anniversary ! Thank you so much for a lovely welcoming stay. Well definitely be back.
Great location and easy walking distance to town. The host was wonderful giving us suggestions of places to eat and things to do. He even let my husband borrow a rag. The host texted us when the room was ready so we could check in early. Breakfast was very good and you could choose various options. Pitlochry was a really cute town.
It is centrally located between Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and just north of Perth. Hotel is close to the main motorway, A9. Has a bar and restaurant, albeit the restaurant was closed temporarily during my stay, the continental breakfast was superb! Everything fresh and lovely! Rooms updated and super clean.
Hotel is spotless. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Choice of and breakfast amazing. Made very welcome and provided with some recommendations for things to do in the area. (Which we did take on) and saw a fantastic show at the local theatre. Would highly recommend if you are planning a stay in Pitlochry.
Lovely clean comfortable hotel, rooms are lovely, got everything you need, breakfast is great, good choice, staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a very short walk from all the shops etc. Thoroughly enjoyed it here, one of the best hotels in Pitlochry.
I found pitlochry hydro hotel lovely its better for car drivers if you like walking uphill its fine staff we're great standard room clean beds comfy but carpet could be replaced food was good i took my dog they accommodated him lovely stay except for weather
All staff were amazing, the location was amazing, the property was amazing, and the restaurant was amazing. The best night and meal of our entire time in Scotland. The building is hundreds of years old, but the rooms are modern, comfortable, and finely appointed.
Nice hotel in the main road of Pitlochry. Comfortable room with all amenities. Stayed at the unit across the road. Had a nice breakfast. There was a pub/ restaurant at the main hotel which was very nice. The personnel was friendly and the service excellent.
Come for the brilliant hard court tennis courts, great swimming pool and jacuzzi, proximity to Pitlochry and the beautiful woodland trails next to the hotel, including the black spout waterfall and lastly the beautiful grounds. Rooms were really clean.
The location of the hotel is very good. As my son in law ran my daughter and myself up to Pitlochry for a few days and collected us we had no transport - that was the reason we wanted to be in the centre of the town. The meals were up to standard.
We were visiting the Enchanted Forest so the hotel was handy. There was free parking on site and an easy walk down to the bus pick up point, plus a fairly easy walk back to the hotel, using steps from West Moulin Road as a shortcut
Location amazing, walk into pitlochry beautiful, staff polite, tour of hotel on way to room and a bit of history about the building. Breakfast was fantastic.
Tip to walk into pitlochry.
Room 104 not much view but beautiful room.
Cute B&B in Pitlochry, Scotland. Beautiful inside & out. Stayed here on our way to Inverness. Another beautiful view out of the window of our room. Host was wonderful.
Excellent hotel grate location good atmosphere but though it was a bit expensive considering you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel with leisure facilities for cheaper
