The Halvard Hotel is by far the best on the Isle of Man, very friendly and helpful staff, best breakfast on the island, perfectly located, great view of the sea, complimentary mini bar, etc.

Stylish and clean hotel with a view of Douglas Bay and 3 min walk to public transport. They have the nicest English breakfast I have ever tasted. Tasty kippers plus cold fruits and cereals are fabulous. We loved the bar and restaurant too. Extremely friendly and helpful staff including the owner's family. Big thank you to you all. Fantastic location with a beautiful view - nice view from the breakfast restaurant. Lovely breakfast thank you. I loved the design, layout and furnishings of the lobby and restaurant areas. I had a huge room with great furnishings and an enormous bathroom. My interview overran and your reception staff were very kind and accommodating allowing me to check out at 12pm.

Really spacious room. Everything is very clean. Breakfast was lovely, and they were happy to make me a bespoke order . Staff were incredibly polite and professional. Great location as close to both the boat and bus station.
