We recently stayed at Hame on Skye and had an outstanding experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. The dining was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options at breakfast and exquisite dishes for dinner. The hotel's location was perfect, offering easy access to major sites while providing a peaceful retreat. The combination of excellent and personal service, amazing food, and a prime location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended

Great cabin, well equipped with everything you’d need. Great use of a small space and very cosy even on an autumn night. Great view to wake up to in the morning. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it has large spaces (big living room with open kitchen well equiped and the room is also spacious). The view of the loch and the terrace has been well appreciated! It was well located in a quiet area, not far away from Dunvegan Castle or the Neist Point Lightouse. I recommend at 100%!

Arrival and welcome was warm and friendly the receptionist insisted on helping carry the heavy suitcases up to the room, AND we were given a complementary upgrade to a bigger room. The room was fantastic with a perfect view over the harbour. Huge, comfortable bed and gigantic bathroom. There was a party until 2 am on our first night , just below our room, and we were worried it would keep us awake, but we heard absolutely nothing. We found a 3km (3 mile?) walking circuit around the coast and the hills leaving from the hotel, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was excellent and every single one of the service staff were friendly helpful and professional

Ose is gorgeous but it is about a half hour drive to the...

Ose is gorgeous but it is about a half hour drive to the nearest town if you need any food or supplies. Its location is perfect to travel to places lile storr or the fairy pools. We used the turntable ferry to get there and it was awesome too so give it a try.

Ose is a quaint little place, a great base to explore Skye.

Ose is a quaint little place, a great base to explore Skye. If you can spend a min of 3 days exploring it would be recommend as our 2 days was too short. We ate at the Old School Restaurant on the first night and the Skein Inn on the second. It is essential to pre book at the height of summer 😃

Lovely quiet location with good access to other parts of the...

Lovely quiet location with good access to other parts of the island but away from the bustle of Portree. The only difficulty we encountered was the lack of restaurants on the island in general - you must book a table in advance and many places didn't have availability for the same day meaning that we couldn't get a meal on the day we arrived and ended up eating a snack in our room instead.

Ose is very small, but we have a large dog who was made very welcome at The Anchorage and at a local Fish & Chip restaurant. Lots of great walks but come prepared for mixed weather - waterproofs essential!
