Good parking. Excellent room, with air conditioning. Room, although a single, was bigger than some double rooms I have stayed in. Lift to first floor a welcome surprise. All staff friendly and helpful. Eateries aplenty, all modern and comfortable. Breakfast with waitress service. Very very good value for money all round. Location perfect for access to A11 as well as direct route into Attleborough. I know I have to return to Norfolk for more house hunting and I will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Lovely friendly pub. The rooms are situated at the back of the pub so very quiet. Very comfortable beds in a spotless bedroom. Excellent walk in shower. Continental breakfast, cereals, toast, biscuits and fruit provided in the room daily along with fresh milk. Martin and Louise were fabulous hosts with nothing too much trouble. If you are in the area this is a definite place to stay.

There are so many things to like about this lovely B&B. First is Elena the host and proprietor. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. The room was comfortable, immaculately clean and had everything you might want. The bed was very comfortable and the shower facilities were excellent. Elena’s breakfast is justifiably claimed to be excellent… it was delicious and we really didn’t need much more to eat all day! The Old Field Barn will always be our first choice accommodation whenever we are in the area and we look forward to a return visit very soon. Thank you.

Lovely food and friendly staff although they were always busy. Steep stairs to rooms and uneven floors which you must expect in an historic building. Parking on site was good. Outdoor dining available if weather permits.

The pub, restaurant, staff were very good, cheerful and helpful. Food very good, tasty, well prepared, breakfasts excellent, ordered for set time the previous night, FRESHLY cooked and hot served at that time. Not from a Bain Marie! Great choice! Room very nice, comfortable. Outside tables under room windows (Opened because of heat) makes rooms VERY noisy. Vaping smoke and odour rising through windows along with smoking. Worse a s people smoked more, got more intoxicated, louder. As an ex publican, I would move the smoking area to the grass garden at the back of the pub away from the rooms, and where people wish to eat meals outside - al fresco!

Literally nothing to do in the area.

Literally nothing to do in the area. There is the hotel, a tea room and a local shop. Even driving out there was nothing to do or visit until we reached Snetterton race circuit. So, the area is more of a residential area than a holiday/break destination. It is very quiet.

New Buckenham is a little village with a small shop, tea...

New Buckenham is a little village with a small shop, tea room and a pub. It is a typical village with plenty of parking close to the pub, which was our chosen place to stay. We had intended to take a stroll around the village but after a full day out and about each day, never found the time. Although I describe the shop as small it is actually a tardis, with just about anything you may want to buy in it. They take cards so payment will never be an issue. The pub is excellent with plenty of space inside and outside, along with a restaurant. They serve excellent food every day except Monday when they are closed. Sunday roast is well worth booking in for and enjoying. New Buckingham is situated for visiting pretty much anywhere in Norfolk and beyond. I know this as we went out and about every day, without driving mad distances.
