My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great...

My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great grandfather to a shipwreck off Anglesey( the Royal Charter). The Maritime Museum was good and I enjoyed the Bara Brith. The beach was stunning even with the wind and rain. The sunny day we left in showed us the interchange between sea and hills and the dazzling bright colours of the foliage. Loved the sheep and cattle too in the fields.

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula.

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a weekend or a week relaxing, lazing on the beach when the weather permits, taking in the beautiful views, walking or hiking around the surrounding hilly countryside, then Nefyn may well be the place for you. There are golf links at nearby Morfa Nefyn. If you are looking for 5-star hotels, sophisticated nightlife or shopping, then Nefyn is not the place for you! The public bus service is limited, and so a car will be useful if you want to explore the tourist sites in the surrounding areas.

Nefyn itself is only a small town.

Nefyn itself is only a small town. There is a very good community pub and a very well stocked Spar convenience store. The road to the beach is very steep for walkers and cars alike but the beach is long and sandy and very pleasant.

The rooms were clean and a good size (4 bunks in our room) with a well appointed bathroom. Drinks in the bar below the room were reasonably priced and staff were friendly. Parking is street parking and there were no issues finding a space outside the hotel. The location is relatively quiet and limited in activities within walking distance. Check in was easy and free wifi was available throughout the hotel. We were on a road trip break across North Wales and the location was ideal as the launch point for Day 2 of our journey.

A lovely warm welcome. The hotel was fabulous. Lovely big car park with ample parking. Warm cosy room with a good sized TV and very clean. I particularly liked this hotel as I was travelling on my own with my daughter and everything was on site - an excellent little restaurant plus a little pub. Exceptionally clean and every day you could actively see the floors had been mopped. Will definitely return. Lovely people. Thank you.

Very well equipped old cottage, especially in the kitchen. Furnishings, bed and, linens all of a good quality. Lovely quiet location. Plenty of lovely walks nearby. Maps and local information provided. The Nanhoron Arms Hotel provides very nice food. We would certainly recommend staying at this cottage
