the hosts David and Emma were lovely and we felt very welcome right from the start. the home is absolutely beautiful and our room had a really comfortable bed. A few meters away is a lovely old pub with wonderful food.

Travelled here to attend a family funeral. Great location, lovely village. Accommodation was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Although didn’t make use of garden this was lovely as well and had furniture. Plenty of space inside and outside of property. Two parking spaces at property. Wi-Fi available, books, games, hairdryer. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. Excellent communication from making the booking and right up until arrival. Manual with lots of useful information in property. Nice wee extras such as coffee, tea, sugar, milk sachets, a coffee machine, and pods. Ice tray with ice already made up for arrival. This property had everything you need when away. It was like home away from home. Wish our stay was for longer, Thanks June

Such a cute little place to stay set in a beautiful location...

Such a cute little place to stay set in a beautiful location. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. I met the house sitters during my stay who were super friendly and welcoming, I even got some hone grown tomatoes and strawberries. I wanted to be close to Blenheim and Woodstock so this place was half an hour away. It was the perfect compromise due to the cost which was much more within my budget than other places closer I loved the Outlook into the horse pasture watching the red kites and the rabbits. WiFi was excellent. I had everything I needed all compacted into a small space. Thankfully the weather on the whole was good so I could utilise the outside space, if it were raining and you were there for any length of time, I could imagine it would get a bit claustrophobic but used as a base for exploring the area, it is ideal. The only downside was the size of the bed is on the smaller side but was super comfy once I was able to clamber up onto the bed. At 5ft 3, the bed was a little high for me to easily get on and off so if anyone has any mobility issues, it would be a problem, however a stepping stool could help this. There were no comfortable chairs to sit on either so the bed was the only option to lounge. There was a stool inside and a garden chair outside. The option to use an outdoor bbq and firepit was lovely, not that I got to use it on this occasion. I had the use of toiletries and towels which saved me packing space bringing my own! The fridge was over efficient and super cool to the point my milk was semi frozen which I didn't realise until the morning I was leaving but guessing I could have turned this down? I couldn't believe how many facilities were fit into this space, very well done and a lovely rustic feel. Would definitely recommend for a short stay and would love to go back.
