This hotel / pub was a delightful surprise. Our room was spacious and comfortable, including the bed. The hotel has character, and the bar area is a good little pub frequented by locals. We really enjoyed this little town. P.S. The 'Aspire' restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel offers exceptional food, fine dining style, at excellent prices.

Vena and Nick were great hosts. The food was wonderful, and their attention to detail and our comfort was superior to the other hotels we stayed at in Scotland. We could not believe the size of the room and bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. They really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. It's great to see their restoration of the residence. We would definitely come again, only this time we would use Isla Bank as our home base for scotch tastings.
