Booked Didsbury House very kast minute following a flight cancellation. I arrived late at night and very stressed. As soon as I entered the property the stress melted away! I was greeted by very welcoming staff who gave me an upgrade and brought me to a stunning room with a free standing bath below my bed - just what I needed after a long stressful day! Opening the door to the room to hear soft classical music playing was a beautiful touch that created an atmosphere of calm. Breakfast was delicious and all staff I encountered were just wonderful. This place is an absolute gem!

It is just another big UK city, but the Christmas shopping was great and the food stalls were a good experience. We also enjoyed the Christmas street market. The ticket conductors at the train station were super helpful and friendly and as long as you have internet access and Google Maps loaded on your phone, it is quite easy to get around. Behold if you don't!

Manchester is a lovely city.

Manchester is a lovely city. The people are very friendly, and there's a lot to do. I've traveled there twice this year, both trips being two days. The city center has numerous nice restaurants and shops, and is easily walkable.

I love Manchester.

I love Manchester. Everyone was met was friendly and there was a great buzz. We were based in Piccadilly which is central so we were really near the shops and restaurants. We went at Christmas time so the markets were fantastic and sold everything you could need. It was busy so be prepared but it was such a vibe. We went to pick up my daughter from Uni so only really had time to shop. We will book another visit to see more sights but the shopping is fab!

Vibrant City !!

Vibrant City !! Excellent for a weekend or few days away. Plenty of hotels in a good location - walkable to most places and good link tram service. Ample restaurants and bars offering different types of foods - something for all tastes - from street food to fine dining. If you like Spanish food, I recommend La Bandara ( just off Deansgate ) had a superb Tasting Menu here, complete with Wine Flight, very enjoyable, well presented and served by knowledgeable staff. ) Also worth a visit is Evuno , a Soanish Tapas bar, great food and wine here as well. So much going on - theatres etc ,we visited the beautiful Bridgewater Hall for a Tony Hadley concert, great sound. Many many shops !! And the Xmas markets were spread around, so not overcrowded, pleasant to stop and enjoy a mulled wine or a glass of Prosecco. Something for everyone here !!

I stayed in Wilde Aparthotel Manchester City Centre for 19 days and I really enjoyed it: great position in the very centre of the city, nice interior design (important for me), a beautiful view over the city from my studio (19th floor), a huge and comfortable bad, a small kitchen well equipped, a small but very well organised/functional bath, and a table where to put my laptop for working. I’ll definitely come again at this Wilde hotel.

The location is relatively quiet considering most hotels in Manchester are very central. Be prepared for a short walk to the city centre and very loud Sunday cathedral bells.
