A pretty little town and so quiet and peaceful.

A pretty little town and so quiet and peaceful. Everyone was so friendly and chatty so very different from where I live in the midlands people in Lymington took time to be friendly, I would definitely move there if I could. The harbour is very pretty. Highly recommend you visit.

Lymington is a great location with so many different places...

Lymington is a great location with so many different places to eat . Cobbled streets also a harbour , beaches close by and forest walks on your doorstep. Lovely local food shops as well as super markets, a good old fashioned market day and wildlife to see daily . Horses , donkeys , cows , deer and the little pigs especially in the autumn. Great couples location but also great for families. Lymington has something for everyone, if you like fishing you’re also well catered for here too , either sea, river or lake. Local towns Lyndhurst, brockenhurst also hold their gems too but if you want to travel half an hour to outlets , cinemas ect Bournemouth will cater all of this for you and more including a huge beach however don’t over look the beaches in between around Christchurch as they’re are just the best , muderford quay , hengestbury head to name a few . You can’t go wrong with a stay at lymington . Great places to eat , kings head , La Quila , The Red lion

We know Lymington well and visit the mariner frequently.

We know Lymington well and visit the mariner frequently. The town itself is full of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a market on Saturday. It is also close to New Forest, has an outdoor sea pool and ferries to the Isle of Wight. Bike hire is also a popular activity as well as water sports.

The Saturday market is worth a visit and there are lots of places to stop for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Walk down the cobbled street to the harbour and enjoy watching the boats. There are also quite a few independent shops. Just along the coast there is a nice walk along Hurst Spit to the fort or you can get the ferry. Lots of walks around nearby Brockenhurst too.

A delightful high street. Beautiful Georgian buildings

A delightful high street. Beautiful Georgian buildings and individual shops. Among the chain store shops were useful ones ,such as Boots and Superdrug, Picturesque, and leading down to the cobbles and the harbour. Also Lymington is very easy to reach by car , using the M3 and the M27.. This, of course depends on your starting point.
