The three of us were guests for two nights during our stopover on our journey home from Wales to Germany. We were warmly welcomed by John and were able to relax and rest well before continuing our journey home. John and his family were super friendly and the log cabin was cosily furnished. On the second evening we also had a cloudless sky and were able to watch the stars. The location is great: very quiet and you feel very close to nature. We will definitely be back. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel itself was well maintained with a very authentic feel to it. We booked a dog friendly room and the staff were so accommodating to us, both at breakfasts and when coming and going. We were made to feel welcome at all times. We would definitely stay here again.
