Beautifully decorated old stone building with loads of charm and character. Newly renovated luxurious bathrooms in very generous rooms. Gorgeous wood panelling and sumptuous leather chesterfields in bar area and super comfy chairs in dining room with its glorious views to the golf course. Fabulous food served at dinner and breakfast with incredible service from the waiters. An all up amazing stay and wish we had longer. Would definitely book again if visiting near Perth in Scotland.

Great facilities and staff. Room spacious and very comfortable, food from the kitchen excellent... Special mention to Sarah the manager, and Fiona who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even an early breakfast. A lovely stay, would recommend, and definitely return..

Let's see... The Lovat Hotel made my hall-of-fame list for many reasons. We were lucky enough to be granted the honeymoon suite. The room was enormous, tidy, beautiful, with really nice view, and the decoration was simply amazing, thanks to our favourite Sarah's touch. An exceptional personality with great taste, was really helpful and always available. The bar offers a great variety of drinks and there is also an 8-ball pool, where one may relax. All the above, combined with jazz music and our friend from Sri Lanka who had the night shift, made it quite an experience. We would also like to thank our morning Scottish-Spaniard friend. Everything was beyond our expectations and, should we find ourselves in the vicinity of Perth, we will come back for an even greater experience!!!

Perfect for a quiet getaway or travelling to surrounding...

Perfect for a quiet getaway or travelling to surrounding areas like Perth which takes quite a bit of time to explore thoroughly. Dundee is also a lovely town worth visiting. Not being a dog owning couple or in the first flushes of youth we took our time roaming around but the walking trails for dog owners were excellent. The accommodation does accept dogs which is a good thing too as that is not always possible. Luncarty is a small village but has a Spar shop which is convenient and well stocked. A visit to Stanley village nearby to the butcher who does great ready meals and pies is a must for a quick meal.

It was the perfect place for myself husband and dog had an enclosed area for the dog private parking in the drive warm house clean plenty hot water and everything you need for a relaxed break away very peaceful

The bedroom was well equipped and the bed very comfortable...

The bedroom was well equipped and the bed very comfortable which gave us a good night's sleep. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. If travelling from England, say from Merseyside/Manchester area, it was a good halfway point if travelling further to the Western Isles and far North. There is also plenty to see in the rolling countryside around and Sterling is only half an hour away.
