our stay at Rooms at Uphill was excellent. The staff were friendly, always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was very good and severed hot no issues. We booked a table for the evening meal and found the restaurant clean and good ambiance. the food was exceptional and severed in a professional manner. my wife complimented some of the dishes as some of the best we have had and i agreed. Rooms is just a few minutes walk to the beach and also there is the church on the hill for more energetic walkers, but not after the meal. i would say a very well done and would recommend Rooms at Uphill to everybody.

One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at: the eye for detail regarding decorations and interior design is simply extraordinary! We stayed in a family room, and then booked another night in a double room: both were just amazing and so very comfortable and clean. Wonderful location by the seaside, WSM is absolutely gorgeous and worth a visit! The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was scrumptious at an amazing value, nothing was ever too much to ask. The pool was great, safe on-site parking, what a find! We will be back, highly recommend!

Hotel was pretty much as we expected, the staff were very good and the food in the restaurant was very good too. The leisure facilities especially the pool were a lovely bonus. We would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Lovely Hotel with freindly staff and great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Pool and fitness room all fabulous. Very relaxing one night stay shame we couldn't stay longer to try an evening meal.

The best feature of the hotel was the leisure centre.

The best feature of the hotel was the leisure centre. We only used the pool but it also had a gym, sauna and steam room. The food was very average. We ate from the bar menu after the first evening. We were not prepared to risk wasting money in the restaurant. The staff were all very friendly. They seemed short staffed in the restaurant at breakfast time.

Whilst we didn't spend a large amount of time in Loxton (it was too wet for long walks) it was very easy to get to Cheddar, Weston Super Mare and other local towns. The Webbington Hotel's gym, pool and spa is recommended. Take a trip to Cheddar for the caves, walks a quaint shops as well as the pubs and restaurants

Average and my room was decent. Others were not. Mine had recently been refurbished with new carpets and wallpaper but the rest of the hotel was in need of some major TLC. Horrible old dusty carpets throughout, tiny rooms in the other building with no light and generally old and worn. Definitely wouldn’t pay £120 a night to stay here again. I would say more about the 60-80 mark is more suitable.

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with...

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with far reaching views over Somerset countryside. However, although the hotel is warm, homely and quiet inside, the nearby M5 motorway is really noisy - so sitting on the terrace outside the bar is not as pleasant as you might think. There's plenty of parking though, and the staff were superb.

All staff were excellent; friendly, helpful and hard working. Everyone from reception, bar, restaurant, spa, cleaning were all great. The pool and gym were exceptionally clean and the pool booking system worked really well and is easy to use. Breakfast was well stocked with good choice, bar food in the evening was tasty, served promptly and lots of options. Hotel location was great for us as we could do local walks from the doorstep. Amazing views from Crook Peak.

This is our second return, this time for a stopover before travelling to Bristol Airport. We love that this hotel has a pool, though can be a bit chilly when you first get in. The staff are always really friendly. Food is great. Lovely views from the bar terrace. Comfortable beds.

It was nice that the hotel was a little bit out of the way and the staff were lovely. The spa and sauna area were good and you didn't need to pay extra. We did only stay for one night as we were going to Bristol airport in the morning which was only 15 minutes.

The hotel was great value for money. The staff were very friendly. The leisure club was great, we enjoyed a steam room, sauna and booked swim. We had dinner in the traditional restaurant, which was pleasant and with a good menu.
