I had a late check in (almost 23 00) and there was not a single problem with it. Just when you know you will be late make a call directly to the hotel! The room was big enough for me as a single person and the bathroom was clean and everything was working. Breakfast was really good. I expected just some bread, jam and butter but instead I was offered yogurt, fruits, bread and a full English breakfast. I had a really good time! I liked everything. The location is also perfect. I will definitely stay also next time I come to visit Llandudno

FAQs about hotels in Llandudno

Victorian Resort with a Welsh Twist

The most popular Wales seaside resort, Llandudno covers a peninsula with 2 sandy coastlines. The North Shore’s wide Victorian promenade is lined with period buildings which now house seafront hotels and guest houses. The beach itself stretches all the way between the Little Orme and Great Orme headlands, passing an outdoor swimming pool.

A historic tram climbs to the peak of Great Orme, where Bronze Age copper mines can be visited. The top is also reachable by cable car from Happy Valley, a recreation area with gardens and an artificial ski slope.

A road runs around the base of the headland passing the historic Grand Hotel, a property available on Booking.com and overlooking the Grade II-listed pier – the longest in Wales. The West Shore is much less developed and the Maesdu Golf Course forms most of its shoreline.

Of course, Llandudno has its fair share of traditional seaside pursuits such as donkey rides and fish and chip shops.

The town also has a modern retail park near the train station and Venue Cymru event centre, and wrought-iron canopies shade smaller shops along Mostyn Avenue, Broadway and Street. The latter - Mostyn Street - is effectively the high street and becomes brightly decorated during the Victorian carnival in May.

A lovely, atmospheric seaside town packed full of great attractions with a spectacular pier. The Great Orme, ski lift, fabulous historic tram and many splendid views to the mountains as a backdrop. Excellent retail parks and and a very picturesque shopping main street , but perhaps the highlight is the wonderful picturesque sweep of the bay with its brightly coloured hotels and houses sweeping around the bay. Well served by bus and train and good road access to the beautiful surrounding countryside that is North Wales.

Llandudno was the place we holidayed each year when I was a young girl. When I come to Llandudno I feel like I'm home. It is a wonderful place steeped in our families history. My great-grandparentd holidayed here. We now stay on the west shore at the Lily with Rooms which is a stunning hidden gem. For fish & chips it's always Tribells which was where we ate 50 years ago. I dont know if its the same name but its the same place & it bring me great comfort to revisit places I went to as a young girl. The Great Orme is a must, you can see for miles when up there.

quite the location for old world feels, great pier, lots of avrg fried food with some very expensive places, prices getting crazy out there for the qualty we had. however the basic stuff like the local chippy was very high price / quality ratio. however when a small glass of wine of little qualty is 8 quid i would pass. some very good walks, and the magic of the old peir!

Lovely hotel. Very welcoming. The room and hotel were very clean. We had a sea view room which was really nice. The breakfast was delicious and great that it was served buffet style so you could help yourself. Good selection of cereals, fruit, drinks and cooked breakfast. There is free parking available however we just parked on the main road and reasonable cost to park there. Handy for the shops and pier and a lovely on site bar. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit llandudno
