The location is perfect for my son’s location; this is my go too hotel to stay when visiting Scotland from my home in Dubai. Amanda (in the bar) was outstanding and gave amazing service to us all during the evening stay. Special thanks to her for making the experience a memorable one.

On arrival all staff are very friendly and attentive. We had breakfast on one of the days and the selection of food was more than enough. I even went to the bar area where the staff greeted me with a smile and was very helpful, when I asked questions. 5 mins walk to shopping centre.

Livingston is a quaint, calm neighbourhood.

Livingston is a quaint, calm neighbourhood. Although not easy to access an Uber, there are bus stops if you walk a few minutes, and Livingston North train station is of course a stop for the different rail services. We walked for about 15-20 mins to get to a station. Save the number of taxi operators ahead of your trip, if you're travelling with lots of luggage and want convenient drop offs and pick ups from/to your space in Livingston.

The location was very convenient, with a market nearby that offered everything one might need during a short stay. While the approach lane wasn’t particularly impressive, the apartment itself exceeded our expectations — beautifully maintained and very comfortable inside.

Livingston is largely a planned, bedroom community midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is only one central shopping area/mall and is otherwise dotted w/ the odd run-down convenience store. Pedestrian access and bus/taxi service is good, but you'll need to like walking in Scottish weather (rains most days). Bars and restaurants are few, hard to find, and close early w/o notice. Probably a good base of operations for touring Scotland but not the best if your focus is Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Livingston is a new town not far from Edinburgh.

Livingston is a new town not far from Edinburgh. It is very green with lots of trees and wide roads, and quiet footpaths through the trees. There is plenty of shopping available, with a large indoor shopping centre in the town. It has its own railway station where you can jump on a train to Edinburgh for a couple of pounds. Good for driving and parking. I wouldn't call it a tourist destination but is good for Edinburgh and Glasgow trains, or a halway stop overnight.

We visited Jupiter Artland, this was the primary reason for visiting Livingston and we wish we had put aside more time to explore other parts of the area. Jupiter Artland was superb - well worth a visit!

We didn't actually do anything in Livingston, just used it...

We didn't actually do anything in Livingston, just used it as a place to stay while at another event in Edinburgh. What we did see while driving looked OK though. There was a couple of food places across the road from our hotel (Livingston Lodge) which were good.

The hotel was located very close to the airport, which was the main reason we chose it. It was also very convenient that there were plenty of spacious parking spots right in front of the hotel. The check-in and check-out process was completely smooth. Also the rooma was very spacious.

This hotel is conveniently located near Edinburgh Airport. Unfortunately, we experienced very little interaction with staff, and breakfast was quite disappointing. It was a let-down, especially as this was the final stop of our otherwise wonderful trip through Scotland.

Nice hotel and in a good location for the visits I was making. Gets a little expensive this time of year but that's supply and demand. Rooms are a good size, a little tired but fine. Breakfast was again was fine.
