I sent my evaluation of Smart Home in Larne allready earlier and asked the owner some refund of our money, she was very rude. We did not get what was promised, for ex. the whole appartment for ourself, we are two elderly ladies and there was a man staying in the other small bedroom, his stuff all over the place, we did not know who owned food in the fridge. We did not touch it, even the promised breakfast with freshly-baked pastries never arrived. The coffee in the kitchen jar was dryed out, and did not come out of the jar, milk smelt bad, the kitchen towel was discustingly dirty, the microwave oven was dirty. The man next door arrived sometimes 01.00 o'clock with a woman, both were drunk, and were vomiting - discusting and an unsecure feeling. We do deserve some of our money back. Larne is a good entry port for the Antrim Coast, which I am...

Larne is a good entry port for the Antrim Coast, which I am really fond of. However I don't want to encourage too many people to go there by car! Do try a more sustainable way of travelling that has less impact on the place. It's brilliant for bikes, and there are good buses that could help you plan a walking holiday along the dramatic coastline.

Larne was fine , Unfortunately on the way we encountered a parade of Orangemen and felt very intimidated as we sat in our Irish reg car to the chants from parade participants, if fact driving through lovely towns like Carrickfergus we felt very unwelcomed by all the ulster flags displayed everywhere.

Good location for accessing other sights/tourist places.

Good location for accessing other sights/tourist places. Well served by public transport. Good promenade for relatively flat walking. The Olderfleet bar does a roaring trade, best to book to make sure you can get a table.

Larne is my home town and I was visiting family.

Larne is my home town and I was visiting family. The B&B is right beside the harbour if you are travelling by boat. It is a nice town but not much going on. There is easy access to the main road to Belfast and other places.

It was a smaller town and easy to get around with good parking with access to the Main Street from the parking area. Took awhile to realise that as we didn’t see any signs letting us know we could walk through A charming town with nice and helpful people

Liz our host was such a friendly happy lady, we were welcomed like Royalty, we were due on the 0800 Ferry from Larne to Cairnryan, and the Harbour Inn was within walking distance, to the ship, although we were in a lorry. We did not have time for a breakfast, however Liz was quite happy to make us one at 0630 !! The B & B was ideally situated after such a long drive (13 hours) we just need to get into a bed for the night, Thank you Liz, and if we ever need to get to Larne again I would certainly book the Harbour Inn again.

We stayed here as my son was kickboxing in larne leisure centre. The b&b was nicely done, super cosy and very clean . The owners were lovely from we arrived. The breakfast the next morning was delicious even tho their kitchen was being renovated but that that didn’t bother us as breakfast was still really good. Thanks for everything and We hope to stay again in the near future

Lovely host who was very welcoming at the late hour of our arrival. Derrin guest house is a beautiful, big house in a residential area. It has an interesting history. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a ferry. Our host made sure we could have a quick breakfast. It took us really less than 10 minutes to get to the port.

Luxurious. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Lots of power sockets. Good location as close to Larne Port, handy for Belfast, Carrickfergus, Mount Slemish, the Gobbins and the beautiful coast. Great birdwatching off of the coast.
