One of the best stay I had in my life! The building and the forniture are so nice. I HAVE LOVED ALL THE CURTAINS, and the DUCK!! From the welome to the end, every single person of the staff was so friendly and smiling. We got an upgrade for 1 night and the room is soo beautiful and well cleansed and all courtesy line has an eccellent parfume!! You really feel that everybody work to make you feel at home, they are a winning team!!

Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. We felt very welcome. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The food at the pub was delicious. The Lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious & decorated very tastefully. Extra large deck overlooking a wildlife lake with Duck & Swan food provided. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome. Great communication from the lodge hosts & reasonably priced for such a lovely place to stay. Will definitely re-book when we return to England.

Spotless room, fridge provided fantastic especially if you have children. Plenty of hot water for showers. Air con and heater in the room. Microwave and toaster in the common room to make your own breakfast (shop 10min away) little noisy as the people above did stamp around not the hotels fault. Easy assess parking was great. Great location and a fantastic curry house next door. Lovely pub 2 min away the landlord poacher. Lovely staff very helpful

The facilities were good & clean & the staff were pleasant & helpful. There were no breakfast facilities but the very local garden centre compensated for that shortfall. The Indian restaurant next door was also a good 'shout'. If planning to eat (& drink) further afield, suggest booking a local taxi firm BEFORE you visit......

We stayed in Landford as a base to visit the New Forest by...

We stayed in Landford as a base to visit the New Forest by car. Landford Garden Centre, just a 10 minute walk, served a good choice of breakfast and was very tasty. Also the food at Royal Jaipur Indian restaurant next door to Forest Lodge was very good. Forest Lodge was also a short drive to several good pub/restaurants.

Good location, rooms were clean and comfortable. It is situated on a busy road so traffic can be noisy but that didn't worry us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely Pub within walking distance.

Initial price was comparable to budget hotels, but allowed us to have myself, my husband, and my 2 16 years in one room, unlike budget hotels. Therefore, we saved a considerable amount of money. All the little extras were lovely - fridge, water, biscuits. Just made it so much better than alternatives for us.

The receptionist noticed that I had a limp and very thoughtfully upgraded us to a ground floor suite instead of the original first floor booking. The hotel was very clean and well provided for. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent with a very decent flow.
