I'm just home from a overnight stay at the Hotel Tia I haven't enough words to express my gratitude to this hotel and it wonderful staff.. I travelled from Ireland and was very new to the area , it was our first liverpool game , from organised taxis to great company I definitely give this hotel 200% Everything was top jotch I stayed with my teenage son .. The room was warm and spotless ,the staff were friendly and very helpful

We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective...

We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective than 2 nights in similar accommodation in Liverpool. We were down for the Everton Man City game. Unfortunately neither of us drive and as buses don't Service the hotel at the weekend meant we had to rely on taxis. For anyone who drives the location is not a problem though. Visited a few of the local hostelries. Copperpot, Derby Arms and Vikings Landing all were very friendly places with good service. Prices for drinks are favourable compared to other cities.

Plenty for kids to do, seal show was fab and enjoyed the...

Plenty for kids to do, seal show was fab and enjoyed the train ride around the park seeing some of the animals, plenty of kiosks for ice creams and places to sit in with shade as weather was red hot, clean toilets with disabled facilities. Loved the drive round the animals, with a lucky escape with the monkeys 😊

as a wheelchair user we were given a ground floor room which was appreciated but the lack of fresh air was suffocating at times as the air con was not sufficient.A small refrigerator would have been useful

Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there.

Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there. I expected more from initial pictures shown on booking.com. Shower and taps was hard to use. Then water pressure coming out of the shower head was so hard that my 10 years old son did not like as it hurt him.

Hotel was very nice staff were friendly, location was out the way of the city centre which I knew about anyway but was any 20 mins in a taxi. Room was clean ans had all the facilities you would need and the bed was amazing sleep was amazing

Easy communication with owner. Super roomy and comfortable, felt right at home! So much better than staying at a hotel. Throws on bed we’re comfy and thick, duck feather cushions, Netflix on tv, shops and takeaways nearby. Lovely!
