The staff gave a warm welcome, the interior design was very high-end and the place is just full of quality. I had a great night's sleep, the quality of both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Top class stay.

The one person rooms are relatively big and the 1,5person bed was very comfortable. My room had views on the mountains!

Friendly staff who tried hard but were overwhelmed by hot weekend day trippers which limited service available for guests. Excellent continental breakfast.

The family provided us with a warm welcome, including our dog, and everything was very homely. The Croft is beautifully decorated, breakfast was a delight, and the good hot shower was appreciated after a day hill walking.
With picturesque views over Loch Earn to the hills beyond, Achray House is set in the peaceful village of St Fillans and within the boundaries of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Killin is a lovely riverside village with the famed Falls of Dochart, a regular feature on calendars. It is rural but gives easy road access to many areas of Scotland from Oban, Fort William, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perthshire not to mention the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Has everything you need in a lovely small town. Nice coffee shop, pub and a little gift shop by the Falls, which were impressive. As well as practical little supermarket and a nice playground for the kids.

Beautiful scenery, quiet location.
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. The falls of Dochart are stunning. Well worth a visit to see them. There is also a golf course in Killin with stunning views of the surrounding area. Tucked away in the woods of Killin across from the cemetery you will find the ruins of Finlarig Castle which dates back to 11th century, also well worth a visit.

We stay here often, as its dog friendly and have always found it a nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Any problems, you only need to ask. Meals are good and fairly priced, as are the prices at the bar. Looking forward to our next stay.

It is situated in an area where it is within travelling distance to Loch Lomond. Oban, Glen Coe and Fort William al places we like to visit.
We ate dinner at The Luib Hotel on our arrival and it was excellent. We visited several other hotels and cafes and they were all good establishments. The staff at The Luid are always ready to answer any questions we had regarding places to visit. They are very helpful and the atmosphere they create in the lounge is unbeatable.

If your only issue is wi- fi then you don't have much of an issue. This Hotel caters for most clientele. The staff may I say are excellent. So many spaces to chill out both in the Hotel and surrounding area. Just a wonderful place to stay.
Loved the house, all well kept, clean and tasteful, good heating system and showers, great that there is dishwasher tablets and provided. Good location for exploring the area, really felt in the heart of Scotland. Booked because it was dog friendly so a big bonus. Good communication with the owner. House 1 mile walk from the falls of Dochart, and the village of Killin has everything you need for a short stay. Liked there was coffee, tea, milk and sugar, salt and pepper, even though we brought our own as wasn’t sure if there was any.
Location in Killin was excellent, pubs, restaurants and shops very close by, the building is older and it is furnished and decorated in a very local country house style which works very well.
The owners are very friendly and full of local knowledge for walks and local points of interest.
The breakfasts were stunning, all locally sourced produce and the owner (sorry I forgot your name , but remembered that you were Swiss!!)
Makes all her own breads, jams and yogurt, amazing 🤩
Comfy beds.
Lovely hot powerful shower ideal when you have been outdoors all day.
unusually for a hotel you couldn’t hear the other residents when in your room.
Excellent breakfast. Especially the bacon and poached eggs.
Local staff which is always nice. ( The younger staff members whilst polite and efficient need to watch the older members of staff to improve their interaction/communication skills with guests)
The uniqueness of the property. It appears the owners are trying to keep the hotel as original as possible and the are succeeding. Our room was very comfortable with great bath towels & we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious with some of the best coffee & cappuccino experienced on our 2 week holiday. Should my travels again take me to Killin area, Suie Hunting Lodge will be my first choice.
A nice place to stay in a little laid back village that is busy during the day due to the river and the old bridge. Rooms are small and as expected in a historic building. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent at night as well as for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can be a bit of noise from the pub it does not go on too late.
I went to this hotel because of the closeness to the Falls of Dochart. The hotel itself was very comfortable and well set up for visitors. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Main meals were very tasty and served quickly. Staff were all friendly and courteous. Pet friendly and it had everything i needed for a short stay.
The house is gorgeous - both a beautiful property and also very well furnished. Killin is an absolutely beautiful wee town, well situated for walks but also near enough to bigger towns and cities if needed. I can imagine the garden area is beautiful in the summer, but as it was we appreciated the warm fire and cosy rooms.
Set in a stunningly beautiful area with good nearby facilities including shops and places to get a meal. Killin is a nice place and the Falls of Dochart are impressive. Easy travel to places like Loch Lomond, Stirling and Edinburgh. Warm well equipped house with good WiFi access.
The location was great, loads to do compared to some lodges we have stayed at and the dog walk was great. The walk to Killin was also great. The walk up to the lawyers dam was also a good walk from the carpark for Ben lawers.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The owners were lovely and full of good ideas for things to do. She even had written up a booklet on the towns history and stops of interest. And the breakfast was the best ever—home made scones, preserves and hot items—yummy!
Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and bright with views towards the river. Good location for hotel too, both for access to Killin and surrounding area. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Location was perfect views were lovely..enjoyed log burner..not too far out of Killin for going out for meals..bar/restaurant on site which was nice although bit expensive..Recommend Killin Hotel.
Atmosphere was lovely, bathroom was impeccable, breakfast was incredible, they really accommodated the fact that we had just hot engaged, killin and the dochart falls were beautiful
